We found a few of these caves along the side of the C and O canal path on our way to Colorado. We did not get to go to deep inside them but it was still really cool.
That's my travel buddy Slow Timer... standing by one of the caves.
That's my other travel pal.... Sassafras inside one cave that is big enough to make camp in.
I love to explore things like this but I don't have the gear to go to the depths that some might.
We found about four caves in all... And we crawled around in them a little bit.
It's got me interested in doing a lot more of cave spelunking.
