Chapter 1
Jordan woke up slowly and gently got out of bed. Sam was sound asleep and that was good for Jordan because she softly tied the string around her finger. Then the ring she got from her mother. It was her grandmother’s. Jordan got back into bed slowly started kissing Sam on the forehead, on the cheek and then on the mouth. Sam started to wake up and Jordan got out of bed grabbed the ring and held it up. Then spoke as she slid the ring down to Sam's finger.
“My love, My life, My everything. Want you to be by my side forever and always love you baby! Will you marry me?” Jordan climbed back into bed Sam took her hands and held Jordan’s face and began kissing her all over Jordan’s face.
“Yes, I will marry you!” Answered Sam. She added, “You’re my love. My life. My everything.”
Jordan pushed the ring further on Sam’s finger and said, “This was my grandmother’s. Mom wanted me to have it now.”
Sam pulled Jordan down under the covers and started caressing Jordan’s body. She started sucking her nipple and moved to the other one. 15 minutes later, Sam was dressed and Jordan made her a thermos full coffee. Sam said, “thanks for the coffee babe and the aroma is out of this world.”
Jordan asked, “you been working so hard lately and can’t you call into work. It is Friday?” Sam thought about it said, “you know I could and that’s exactly what I will do. This is a special day!” That is exactly what she did too. Sam also told her chief that “Jordan asked me to marry her!” When she got off the phone, the chief says, “about time!”
Jordan had another surprise to tell her. “Sam, my galleries opening tonight! It is going to be in this morning’s paper!”
Jordan said, “I made arrangements with all the caterers from hors d’oeuvres to champagne. They are even bringing trough out back with ice to keep the champagne cold. I didn’t tell you since I wanted it to be a surprise!”
Sam walked up to Jordan and grabbed her in a big hug and said, “I’ve had two surprises today enough to last me a lifetime. Because it is to be a lifetime of surprises with you, by my side.” Sam added,” say you want to invite Robin and Scott over for breakfast?”
Jordan said, “Sure, that sounds great! Jordan grabbed the phone and called Robin. Jordan said, “she asked me would we rather go to the B&B and have breakfast there in an hour?”
Sam replied, “That sounds great!”
Robin also said, “Congrats on the opening! See you at the B&B”
Sam asked, “We’ve got an hour how about a romp in the bed?” Sam already started taking off the jacket. Jordan was right behind her she still had her PJs on. They may mad passionate love for half an hour and they both got in the shower continued there for another five minutes. They both decided they wear their sweats. Jordan and Sam rushed down to the B&B to find out they were the first ones there.
The both started laughing said that was so much fun! Sam looked at Jordan had a serious look on her face.
Sam said Jordan, “I love you with all my heart, love.”
Jordan said to Sam, “and I will never tire of you calling me love.”
Robin and Scott were just walking up. Robin said she’ll go get us a booth. They both were dressed casually too. Robin came back out and said, “just be a sec to clean up the booth. After a few minutes, they were ushered in by the maître d’. The waitress was quick and asked for our drink orders. They were already to order their entrées, when the waitress came back with the drinks.
While they were drinking coffee, Robin noticed on Sam’s finger and grinned from ear to ear.
“Jordan, you have something to say?” Asked Robin.
“No, not really.” Answered Jordan. Then she noticed Robin looking straight at the ring. “Okay cats out of the bag, I asked Sam to marry me today!” Replied Jordan. “Now you guys are the only one aware okay?” Asked Jordan.
“Oh no! I forgot all about Jared and his husband, Levi. They are going to stay with me and Sam. “I need to call them. I’ll go outside okay? Be right back.” Replied Jordan. “Oh and Sam remind me to give you the caterers number I have a list of things I need her to bring, okay?” Added Jordan.
“Yes love, do I get a treat for this.” Asked Sam. Jordan said before she left to make the phone call, “yes several treats” with her mischievous look. Jordan was only gone few minutes was back with news about Jared and Levi. “They are about two hours away.” Said Jordan. Then she added”,” we also need to make sure that Madison and Allison coming too. Two people who were of the Coos Bay tribe, they met when they were out one evening with Robin and Brian
“They are,” answered Robin. “I spoke to them this morning.” She added and said, “Congratulations Jordan and Sam, I’m so very happy for you!
Jordan also asked, “Robin would you come with me shopping for this evening? I would really love your input! Because I’m buying for Sam too!”
“Sure, I’ll come I love giving advice especially about clothes!” Said Robin. Jordan also made a mental note to hire someone watch the gallery when she was away. Thinking to herself, she was going to need somebody for the art fest also.
The calendar says it’s going to be a full moon which is good for the ambience of the evening.
With that thought, Jordan asked Robin if she was ready to go to the store because then finished breakfast. Robin said, “Sure!” Robin said to Scott, “I see you later okay honey?” Scott replied okay. Then Jordan and Robin were on their way to the stores.
While they were in the changing room, Robin said, “I’m so very happy for you!”
Jordan said, “thank you Robin!” Jordan asked, “How are things with you and Scott?”
Robin replied,” it’s good, really good!”
Jordan said, “I’m glad! Hey, would it be great to have a double wedding!”
Robin said, “I’ve been thinking about asking him instead of waiting for him, what do you think?”
Jordan replied, “That sounds great! So, when are you thinking about asking him? “
Robin answered, “I was thinking about tonight after the ceremony of your new gallery. What do you think about that?”
“I think it’s great!” Answered Jordan.
Jordan got the attire that she wanted for her and Sam. Sam didn’t know what she was getting for her. She replied to Robin, “we better be getting back Jared and Levi should be here soon about 2 o’clock.
“I have a question for you Robin. Do you mind if I still keep my work at your B&B?” Asked Jordan.
“No of course not! Do you still want me to sell or tell them about the gallery?” Asked Robin
“Of course, sell them! And tell them about the gallery” Answered Jordan.
“Okay sure!” Said Robin. Jordan dropped Robin off at her house then went home. She saw a car in the parking spaces knew it had to be Jared and Levi. She grabbed the cloths and entered her home to find Sam and the two conversing in the living room.
“I’m so glad you made it! Sorry, I’m late!” Said Jordan. She gave Sam a big kiss and thanked her.
“I’m so happy for you two!” Said Jared. He added” this is my husband Levi.” Both Jared and Levi were the same height and build very handsome. Levi had a goatee and blonde hair and blue eyes. Jared had dark hair and green eyes. Jordan gave Jared and Levi a big hug. Added, “glad that you made a safe and sound and thank you very much for coming!”
Jared said, “we were happy to come!” Levi said, “I’m glad to finally meet you!”
Jordan said, “I’m taking these to the room and called Robin to let her know you’re here okay?”
When she got to the room and hung up the clothing bags. She began to panic and huddled the corner of the room. She had locked the door, so no one could come in.
It had been a while since Jordan had left the room, So Sam went to check on her. She found the door locked and asked Jordan to open the door. Jordan said “No! I don’t want anybody to see me like this.”
“What should I do Jordan?” Begged Sam. “I don’t know?” Answered Jordan. Then Sam decided to call Jordan’s mom, Susan and told her the situation. Jared and Levi were worried too.
Susan showed up and had champ and Nikita with her and went to the door asked Jordan to let her in. She heard a click of the door lock and went inside she opened the door back of an asked Sam to bring two glasses of wine.
Sam did as she asked and knocked on the door, Susan answered the door and took the two glasses and shut the door again.” Take a sip of this darling?” Asked Susan.
“Thank you, mom for coming! I guess I am having a meltdown, right?” Asked Jordan. “Yes you are but you are going to be better now.” Said Susan. She added, “you keep sipping that I am going to step out for a second, okay? I have a surprise for you!”
Susan stepped out and let everybody know she’s going to be okay just a little crisis but has been abated. Then she asked for champ and Nikita to be brought in so Sam went to get them and brought them to Susan. Then she opened the door to Jordan’s room and let in champ and Nikita. Susan went back in the room and close the door. She took Jordan’s glass for a minute and Nikita and champ were all over her it made Jordan laugh.
“Just what I needed mom, thank you!” Said Jordan.
Susan said, “I knew it would do the trick.” So Jordan hugged and scratched both dogs at the same time
Susan went to the door, “it’s okay for you to come in now Sam.” So that’s what she did Susan left the room and close the door and told everybody everything is okay. “She just got overwhelmed.”
Sam sat down on the bed, said, “you going to be okay?”
“Yes Sam I am going to be just fine. Just got overwhelmed and nervous.” Said Jordan. She added, “I’m sorry I didn’t let you in okay? I’m glad I have you and my mom.”
Sam said, “I’ll always be here for you, love!”
“I know you will.” Answered Jordan. Then she stood up and with dogs in tow Jordan took Sam’s arm and open the door and went to the living room.
“Thank you for your patience everybody.” Said Jordan as she turned to her mom she asked her if she could come back at eight tonight that she’s got two surprises for her. Susan said she knows one of this is the gallery opening because she read it in the paper.
“I’m so excited for you Jordan!” Said her mom
“I’m just so nervous something will go wrong.” Said Jordan and both Sam and Susan answered at the same time, “we’ll deal with that if it happens.”
Sam took Jordan in her arms said, “I think it’s will be a wonderful evening.” Jordan answered, “I know it will be with you here by my side.” Jordan added, “and I notice that Madison and Allison are both here too. Welcome, thank you for coming! “Jordan walked over to Jared and Levi and she said, “it’s so nice to meet you Levi. Jared has told me so much about you.”
“Well, I hope good things!” Said Levi.
“Yes, all good!” Said Jordan.
“So, you’re the nighttime talker that Jared stays up late talking to?” Asked Levi.
“I’d be the one!” Laughed Jordan.
Jordan turned to Robin and asked her when her parents were to be there. “Should be anytime now.” Robin said.
“Because I like to make a special announcement when everybody’s here.” Said Jordan.
It was getting to be about 6 o’clock and everyone had arrived and wearing their best attire, Sam like what she had bought and she and Sam did look good. Jordan tapped her glass to get everybody’s attention.
“It means so much to me that all you guys are here friends and family, a family that are my friends I want to announce courtship and marriage to Samatha Parker and I! We are honored to share this with you!” There was a round of applause, congrats and hugs and kisses. Everyone asked when, Jordan just said, “soon!”
“Well, about that time!” Sam said. Everyone started out the front door and mentioned how bright the full moon was, it lit up the beach and the gallery. There were about 100 people waiting at the ribbon-cutting area. Jordan was thrilled to see so many people interested in her work. Sam handed her the big scissors to do the honors. The outside of the gallery was white yellow trim and had a sign at the edge of the roof in front with the words, Little Place of Art, on it.
“Okay people, Welcome to the little place of art! A big thanks to who made this possible, Travis McPhee!” Cutting the ribbon, opening new doors coming Jordan’s way. Everyone started moving towards the front doors but waited for Jordan to do the honors.
“Go and enjoy!” Said Jordan. She noticed the excellent job caterers did of high round tables with high stools, clothes on every table and candles lit. The renovation job turned out wonderful. She knocked out the kitchen that opened with French doors where she put an office. She put in all hardwood floors. There were stands that had pottery on them along with artwork on the walls, and photographs in frames. She also made each room upstairs separate pieces of art. One room was for artwork, one room photographs and one room for pottery. She redid the bathroom, so people could use it
Jordan came up with the ideal name for the gallery when she was working on the rooms upstairs. Sam came over to her with a glass of champagne toasted to her success.” Everything has turned out perfect!” Said Sam
“yes it has!” Answered Jordan.” But not without your help, thank you so very much!” Said Jordan.
“Love, I do and I will do anything for you!” Answered Sam. “You know that right?” Added Sam
“Of course I do and I do anything for you too!” Said Jordan. “Where do you want to go for our honeymoon?” Asked Jordan.” Because I think I know where I want to go I just wanted to be kind to your thoughts.”
Sam thought about it and said, “I’d be happy anywhere as long as it is with you!”
Now Jordan thought about it and said, “and I would do the same, so let’s pick a place each of us wants to go and we will flip a coin. How is that?”
“Sure! That’s a great idea!” Sam answered.
“Okay, then we will give ourselves till the art festival!” Said Jordan. “And how we want to get our marriage license in San Francisco and on the beach?” “Better get back inside, we will finish this later.” Jordan was amazed how many people came and by the looks of it not a bad night for selling art. Sold quite a few of her favorites too. The people were asked to fill out a small questionnaire based on their thoughts right now and if they would recommend other people and themselves to come back. It looks like the majority of people fill them out. Everybody was gone by 10 PM and Jordan did a walk-through and saw so many blank places where art was. She asked the caterer if she wanted to come back tomorrow to pick up things.
“That would be very nice, we are all beat. But it was a great night, thank you for letting us be a part of this grand opening.” Said the caterer. “Also, good night to you and well done!” She added.
Both Susan and Mary were busy packing up some of the food take back to the house. It put a smile on Jordan’s face. She went over and asked them, “are you guys okay if I leave now and I’ll just leave you the key to lock up?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure, we will be safe with Robert!” Answered Susan and Mary laughed because they said it at the same time.” You go home honey and congrats on the evening and we will bring the money back!”
“Okay if you don’t mind, I think I will.” Answered Jordan. Then she went to try to find Sam. Who had stepped outside watching while the water splashed up.” You ready to go home?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure, I’m ready, anytime you are.” Answered Sam. As they walked to the front door, they found Jared and Levi sit by the fire pit which was lit up they both had a glass of wine.” You guys want to join us?” Asked Jared.
“You know that doesn’t sound like a bad idea!” Said Sam. She added, “give you a chance to wind down.”
Jordan said, “yeah that sounds good.” She added, “I will change clothes and grab a glass of wine, be back soon okay?”
“Okay sounds good.” Said Levi.
Jordan and Sam went inside and went to the bedroom to change into sweats. Jordan had got them almost matching outfits except for black and white contrast between the shirt and Jackets.
Sam said, “you did well!” She added,” have I told you today how beautiful you are?”
Jordan said, “you did well too and yes you have told me that today, but have I told you how beautiful you are?”
Sam answered, “yes you did! Thank you Jordan.” They went into the kitchen both got a glass of wine before they went outside they paused and looked at each other deeply and longingly and kissed.
They were on their way out to the front when Jordan decided to let Nikita and Champ outside with them so she hollered for them in the backyard. They came running in and straight out the front door. Where Jordan gave them both a bone. They sat down outside alongside Jared and Levi. Both Jordan and Sam wanted to know how they were doing.
Levi answered, “it’s gorgeous here with the moon right, the ocean sounds very little wind. we were talking and decided that we’re going to find a home here as a vacation house and possibly permanent”
Jordan and Sam got so excited both said, “That would be awesome!”
Jared said, “ he would not mind for a fixer-upper on the beach.”
Levi added, “sounds good too!”
Sam said,” I have to go back to work tomorrow but Jordan might be of help to you.”
Jordan added, “sure I want to help!”
They all said, “great then, it’s settled!”
They sat quietly for a little bit as they all watched the flames. Then Jordan asked Sam if she would like another one?
Sam said,” sure one more” and she turned to Jared and Levi and asked them they said yes.
Jared offered to help and went inside with Jordan. “You got a nice man there and I think it’s great that you two might move here.”
He said, “yes would it be great to see each other more often. I love the idea!”
Jordan added, “me too! “ Gave him a hug. They poured the wine and went back outside.
When they all finished their wine the fire was embers they kick sand in it too put it out and Jordan commented, “I need to clean that pit out tomorrow.”
Then they all said, “good night!”
Before Jordan could go to sleep she had to call Robin. “Robin missed you at the campfire, is everything okay?” Asked Jordan
Robin answered, “yes everything’s fine Jordan. I was just tired. Don’t worry nothing is wrong okay?” She added, “I loved your gallery so much, it was wonderful and you were great! See there wasn’t anything to be afraid of.”
“I know you know how I get worked up!” Said Jordan. She said good night to Robin and hung up. Then she turned to Sam, who looked at her with those loving eyes. “Listen guys, I’m sorry to eat and run, but I got to get to work, that was awesome thank you!” Said Sam. She added, “do you guys mind if you have the house alone tonight I’d like to sleep over at my place if that’s okay?”
“Of course, it’s okay it would give us quality time too!” Winked Jared.
Okay, it’s settled, Sam got up and filled her thermos and added cream and sugar just like Jordan’s.
Sam got real close to Jordan and whispered in your ear, I hope you’re ready for tonight and gave her a sensual kiss. Then she was off to work. Jordan quickly stops Sam and asked her if we can have dinner here. I am making kebabs and crab and margaritas then it would be time to go to your place. “Is that all right?” Sam answered, “that sounds great have not had your kebabs and crabs in a while also the margaritas!” Sam said, “call you later love.” Jordan said, “bye honey!”
As Jordan finished her food, Jared and Levi told her they were both house hunting today. “Good to go up and down the beach.” They asked her “can we take the dogs with us today?”
“Sure, I haven’t had much time lately I was going to try to this morning sure you more than welcome to take them!” Answered Jordan.
“Here’s the key, if you get back sooner than I do K?” Jordan told them.
“That will be great!” Both answered.
“I am having breakfast again with Robin said she needed to talk and then going shopping, is there anything I can get you guys?” Asked Jordan.
“Yeah here’s $20 could you pick up sandwich meat and lettuce and tomato” Jared asked.
“Sure, I’ll be glad to, but not the 20 you are our guest K?” Answered Jordan.
Then the boys took the dogs went out for their walk. Jordan sat down with a paper and pen started the list. She also went on the computer to order more supplies for the shop. She decided to go over to the gallery to see what it looks like in daylight. So she walked out front and saw the ribbon flapping in the wind. Okay, she thought, that needs to come down first thing after she gets back from shopping. Then she wanted to go inside but realized her mom still had the keys, so she called her and she sounded wide-awake.
“I hope I didn’t wake you, mom!” Said Jordan. “I just don’t know what time you get up these days.” She added.
“Oh, heavens no. Her mother said. “I still get up early, so it is fine. You need something Jordan?”
“Well, I need the keys and the money bag. Are you dressed?” Asked Jordan.
“Yes, I’ll be right down honey. I’ll drive my car okay?” Asked her mother.
“That’s fine, take your time, really, take your time K?” Asked Jordan.
“Okay see you soon.” Said her mother.
So, with that time waiting she tried to think of anything else she needed to do. Then she remembered the fire pit needs to be cleaned. Another list of today’s chores. Looks like her mother has arrived.
“Mom, you have any plans right now?” Asked Jordan.
“Not for a while why?” Answered her mother.
“Just wanted to see if you want to go shopping with me and spend a little time together.”
“Sure, I will, I would love to.” Said her mother.
“Well, let’s go!” Answered Jordan. Then Jordan added, “we need to go by Robins B&B she needed to talk about something. Is that okay?”
“We will go in my new Jeep Cherokee, okay?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure, this fine. I like your new car, I like my new car thanks again.” Her mother said.
“You’re so welcome mom!
Then they were off to Robin’s first. Jordan and her mom went inside the B&B and Robin was at the front.
Hi there, this is a table waiting for us. Then Robin led them to the table after being seated a waitress came up and asked us for a drink order. “Why not bloody Mary’s all around?” Asked Robin.
“Sounds great!” Answered Jordan and her mom both.
“Anybody want the menu?” Asked Robin.
“No thank you!” Everybody said.
When they got their blood Mary’s Robin began to talk. She said she’s been talking a lot to Madison and Allison. Allison’s dad the chief of the Coos Bay tribe he feels he’s in great danger. He has such a gentle and caring heart for his people! Allison and Madison could be in danger too for their lifestyle. They want to move here. Don’t have jobs or money. The money that is supposed to go to people yet it goes to the Council and disappears. These people may be working on a plan to sabotage the chief. Not all the Council is bad just a couple. But that’s the problem we don’t know who is involved
“Where is Madison right now?” Asked Jordan.
“Staying here.” Answered Robin.
“Well, first things first we need to get them to place, a safe place!” Said Jordan’s mother.
“you could use the front helpdesk for one of them and I could use the help since my gallery opened. I was just starting to look for somebody that I can trust with the money and the art.” Said Jordan.
“Which one should I take?” Asked Jordan. She added, “you talk to them besides you know them better than I do.
Robin thought about it and “ I think Madison would be good for you and Allison will start here right away.”
“Tell Madison and Allison not to worry!” Said Jordan. She added,” I’ll have them in a place by tomorrow. We can find furnishings and I know a place that includes cable.”
Jordan’s mother spoke, “I have an extra TV that I don’t use. I’ve got two full size beds that were yours Jordan and have sheets to go with them and other furnishings to decorate. I did not know what I was going to do with all that stuff anyway.”
“Thank you two very much!” Said Robin. She added, “I’m going to go talk to them now.”
“Tell Madison I’ll be back by to pick her up after I go run errands K?” Said Jordan she added, “can you handle them being here one more day and night?”
“Sure, they are sharing a room right now. Okay, then, thanks again.”
“Drinks are on the house ladies.” Said Robin
“Do you have any bones I have not asked you for any a while and you know that she really like some and champ would probably love some too.” Asked Jordan. Robin went to the kitchen and brought out a big bag full. “Been meaning to drop these off but I keep forgetting.”
“Thank you so much. Boy, Champ and Nikita are going to love these!” Said Jordan.
“You are coming tonight and by the way how are you and Scott doing these days?” Asked Jordan
“we are doing really well. I know you two can keep a secret. I found a receipt for a place that makes custom rings!”
“Mums the word promise!” Both said.
“That’ a sweet loving guy!” Jordan’s mother said. Jordan agreed.
Then Jordan picked up the bag of bones along with her mother and said, “see you later K?”
“Okay see you then.” Said Robin.
It was off to the market, Jordan got a list out and tore it in half and one part to her mother. Jordan parked the car close to the market that she can get. She grabbed the basket gave it to her mom and Jordan grabbed one. We’ll meet at the checkout."
“Is this okay, can you do it this way?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure, I can! Maybe old. But I’m Is still feisty!” Said her mother.
“I’m sorry mom, I didn’t mean for it t to sounds that way!”
“It’s alright Jordan I know you worry about me.”
They both went in opposite directions and began shopping
After a half an hour, they met at the checkout and both Jordan and Susan got everything on the list. Now they need to run by and pick up Madison. The look on her face said it all she was happy. So, they went back home. Madison help bring the groceries in. Then before she got started she wanted to take Madison over to the gallery and show her what she wanted to have done.
Jordan’s mother spoke, “I’m going to help her for a while before I go.”
“Okay, just for a bit.” Said Jordan so they all walked to the gallery. “Okay, Madison, I need you to do take all the clothes off the tables and put them where the caterers will be picking it up, all the champagne glasses go with them too. Then Sweep and take that ribbon off the front of the building and save it bring it all over here okay?” She added, “you don’t worry about anything else we will take care of you and Allison. Get you started okay?”
Madison spoke, “both Allison and I are greatly indebted to you and Robin and your mom thank you is all I have for now.”
You’re welcome I need to get back over to the house. Mom are you staying here or rest?”
“I’ll stay here for a bit then come over, how’s that sound?”
“Okay then see you in a few.”
Jordan went back home and found the money on the counter she looked inside and saw that her mother had the accounting for what was bought last night. Taxes and all other items. She read the amount clear of taxes you came to approximately $50,000. I need to take this to the bank and run by the apartment owner. She walked back over to the gallery and told him she had a couple errands and she told her mother thanks for doing the books. “Would you mind if you would be my account Her mother smiled back and she said sure. She turned around and went and got into the Jeep. She went to the bank first deposited all the money except $1000. Then she went to the apartment owners house. She knocked on the door.
He said, “hello long time to see you here. What can I do for you?”
“I need your help. I need to get an apartment today very important that it is today.”
“I have thousand dollars nonrefundable deposit then a check for the first and last month.”
“The man answered, “it seems that I have an apartment available, it needs to be rented today.”
“Thank you very much and I know I don’t need to see the apartment I’m sure it’s clean and working properly.”
“Let me get you the keys.”
“And by the way, one girl is working with me and the other is going to work with Robin.”
“That sounds great. Here are the keys. All bills paid and 600 a month. Can I get you anything else a beer?

Jordan went back home and told Madison and her mother who was cutting vegetables for her that I got them on apartment, they move in tomorrow.
“Did you finish the gallery?”

“what time is everybody coming? about 6 o’clock and it is 4 o’clock now. Thank you so much mom this hiccup that happened is over. You want to stretch out on the couch and rest for a bit.” Said Jordan.
“that sounds like a good idea. I’ll rest for about an hour." Said her mom.
“Mom I want you around for a long time and I love you so much!” Said Jordan.

Then she put in her secret recipe and left it to marinate. She poured herself a glass of wine went outside out front decided to get firewood ready. Took a sip of her wine, she always did put extra between two chairs she went and got more firewood stacked it in the pit. I realize I had not had a phone call from Sam so I decided to try to call her make sure everything is okay. She let it ring and went to voicemail Jordan left a message for her to call me back and she loved her.
A few minutes later she got a phone call it was Sam, “sorry just been a hectic day. How was your day?”
“Hectic, that is why you did not hear from me until now too.”
“Well, we will power through the rest the day till tonight my place, your mine!” Said Sam.
“oh boy, sounds juicy! I think I’m getting horny!” Said Jordan.

Jordan said, “we’ll find out how you can look at it tomorrow, okay?”
Levi said,”great!”
Jordan said,”so glad you decided to do this!”
Jared said, “me too!”
“We better get the grill hot and start the fire pit. Think you two can do that?”
“While I start mixing the margaritas.” Said Jordan. She still needs to make the kebabs. It didn’t take very long so she went back to make the margaritas. About that time, Sam walked in the door and said, “Hi love!”
“Hi, honey, ready for a margarita?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure!” Sam said. She added, “you need any help?”
“No,we got it. Thanks though.” Answered Jordan.
Jordan thought she should wake her mom. She went over and touched her shoulder. Her mom woke up and asked how long she been asleep.
“ About two hours, you really needed it.” Said Jordan. She added, “you want a Margarita?”
Her mom said, “you bet!”
“Okay, I’ll get you one. You want to go sit outside?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure, I will.” Said her mom
Jordan poured one for her mom and took it out to her. Now everyone else is showing up and she started pouring drinks. Sweats are popular tonight she thought. She got everybody served and came out from behind the bar. Sam grabbed her around the waist and pulled her close and said,” I can’t wait till tonight! Your mine.”
“I can’t wait either been thinking about it all day!” Said Jordan
Sam let go of Jordan and they both took their drinks outside sat in the lounge chairs. Then she’s thought of the bones for champ and Nikita she got up and went and got the bones, then she hollered for Champ and Nikita took the bones and went to their favorite spots. Then she went back to sat down. Sip her Margarita and Sam put her hand on her thigh. A bolt of electricity went through her and she thought, I can’t believe this still happens to me. “I missed you today.” Said Sam.
“I missed you too.” Said Jordan.
She wished they were at Sam’s already. But it’s fun being with the friends.
Jordan looked at the moon which was a Blue moon and how it lit up the spot where they were. And behind the waves, she can hear Joss stone in the background. Then she was back to reality because Sam asked her something.
“What was that?” Asked Jordan.
“I was asking how was your day, love?” Asked Sam.
“Well, we have an apartment ready for the girls, we move in tomorrow” Asked Jordan.
“That’s great! I can help okay?” Answered Sam.
“Do you want talk about your day?” Asked Jordan. “No, we can wait too. We will just enjoy the time.” Answered Sam.
Sam squeezed Jordan’s leg to reassure her, then Jordan put her hand on Sam’s. Jordan asked if everyone wanted another round before the kebabs and crab. Everyone says sure. She went and mixed another round and went and poured every everybody’s glass. She ran out halfway through so she went mixing more and finished the rest of the glasses. Then she sat down again. Sam said thanks leaned over and gave her a kiss.
“Robert, could you turn on the grill on low?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure, no problem.” Answered Robert.
“Can you watch the kebabs if I put them on?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure.” Answered Robert.
“I’ve heard from Mary about your kebabs. I can’t wait!” Answered Robert
She thought she would have Scott do the crabs when it is time. She gave the tray of kebabs to Robert and then sat down and sipped her drink. Then she asked Sam what the topic is? Sam had been talking to Robin and Scott, Jared and Levi were all talking amongst themselves with her mom, Mary and Robert.
“We were just talking about the ring for one thing.” Answered Sam. Robin said how beautiful it is. It had a big diamond in the middle and little ones all around it.
“Have you thought about a date and where?” Asked Robin.
“I have some ideas that I was going to talk to Sam about.” Answered Jordan. Then she told Robin she would talk to her about it tomorrow. Robin said “great, you better.”
“We did decide that we are going to think about the honeymoon and then flip a coin!” Said Jordan.

“I don’t think he heard anything.” Whispered Sam. Robin felt relieved. Then Jordan asked, “ Everyone ready for the kebabs and crab?” Robert went to check on the kebabs and Jordan asked Scott if he could help with the crab. He said sure and went to the kitchen. Jordan asked, “is everybody okay with helping tomorrow morning to move the girls into their apartment?” Everybody said sure! Jordan also asked if 10 o’clock was okay with everybody in the morning. Moving day. Everyone said sure that will be good. Jordan could hear Melissa Etheridge the background singing come to my window she put her hand on Sam’s back then leaned over and gave her a really nice kiss. Then she whispered in your ear,

“I have two bikes that I’m going to give to the girls so they can get around.” Said her mom.
“That sounds great mom!” Answered Jordan. She also said, “they have a car but the bikes would be nice to have to ride on nice days.”
“Hey, mom you want to take Champ and Nikita tonight?” Asked Jordan.
“Sure, I would they are great company!” Answered her mom. She added”,” can I take some of those bones with me?”
“Sure, there both for Champ and Nikita!” Answered Jordan.
“Okay people! 10 o’clock tomorrow to get it done quickly,” said Jordan.
Sam came over and asked her if she was ready to go because I can’t wait to get you home!”
“Oh, you bet I’m ready!” Answered Jordan excitedly.
Jordan went over to her mom and gave her a hug and kiss, “thank you for everything you doing and just being my mom!” She added, “I love you so much.” Then Jordan’s mom replied back the same.
Then Mary and Robert said, “we’ll make sure she gets home okay. And Robert added, kebabs were awesome!”
“Thank you and good night,” Jordan said. She told everybody goodnight. Jordan and Sam left.
Jordan looked at Sam, “I think my mom needs to see a doctor.
“Then we’ll get her one, okay?” Answered Sam.
“Okay.” Said Jordan.
“I’m going to make you a Margarita.” Said Sam. She added, “can you start the fireplace and put on some music?”
“I sure will, what do you want to hear?” Asked Jordan.
“Anything your heart desires!” Answered Sam with a grin.
“Oh, I see how you work.” Answered Jordan. Then she put on Phoebe Snow and then started a fire. “Great ambience!” Said Jordan.
“It is very nice!” Answered Sam as she handed Jordan her Margarita. Sam sat hers down. Then she moved all the big throw pillows on the floor she had a lot of pillows.

We can see if Chief white owl could do it and there are Indian ceremony vows for both him and you and I. I have been doing some research online. It took me a little while, to find everything. Then some time could go San Francisco later. Just you and me. But the only people we need to worry about being here is Jared and Levi and we can fly them here. There’s also little candle balloons that everyone sends off after the last vow from all those who attend the wedding.” Said Jordan

“I was thinking September, what do you think about that because it would not take too much to get it set up?” Asked Jordan. “I was thinking about that too and we can ask body tomorrow how the schedule looks for September for everybody?” Said Jordan.

Robin brought clothes for the girls. She hopes they fit but if not, they can go shopping. Jordan was picking out pictures that Susan painted and asked her if those were okay to take over. Scott drove the girls over to the apartment they were so excited. It had all hardwood floors except the bathrooms which had ceramic tile. Brand-new appliances and a fireplace. Jordan was going to buy a half cord of wood for them to start off with. They will put it on the back patio. Madison and Allison picked their rooms and decided what artwork they wanted in each room
Soon they can hear the other cars pulling up, Madison and Allison went out and gave Jordan a big hug. If they started grabbing stuff making their way back to the apartment. It took about 30 minutes to arrange things and bring things in. Jordan brought the paintings in and told them that her mom did them. They loved the paintings, so she asked where they wanted to put them on the wall. It looked like home to the girls and that is all that matters. Robert and Scott are going to pick up the half-cord of wood for Jordan and she said just call when he’s back at the apartment.
Robin said she would take Madison shopping for groceries and necessities while Sam and Jordan stayed to talk to Allison about her dad. They went to the bar for a beer and just let Allison tell her story.
“Somebody has been sending harassing letters to my dad threatening him if he does not step down as chief. My dad is the most gentles, caring person I know and I’m not just biased.” Allison said.
“He tells me not to worry, but I do.” She said. She added, “I want to see my dad, make sure he’s okay.”
Sam said, “I think it’s better that you and Madison stay here where it’s safe, okay? We’re all going to the art festival next weekend, so we planned to meet with your dad scope things out.”
Jordan added in, “do our very best to keep him and you safe, okay?” Allison said okay. Allison added, “I think it is somebody on the City Council because several of them don’t get along with my dad.”

“Well, we will certainly get down to the bottom of it, okay? Try not to worry.” Said Jordan.
“Maybe we should try to go down a couple of days earlier before the art fest because things are going to get hectic I have plenty of time off.” Said Sam.
Jordan said, “I think that’s a good idea, I will call the hotel change the dates!”
Madison said, “thank you so very much for all your help, and everybody has been so kind and generous.”
“Glad to help.” Both Sam and Jordan answered.
They took Allison back to the apartment and Robert called said he was on his way there.
“Mind if we stick around a bit?” Asked Jordan.
“Not at all, I would offer you drink, but we seem to be all-out.” Laughed Allison.
Jordan’s phone rang and she answered. It was Robin they are on their way back.
“Now all we need is Robert and Scott with the wood.” Sam said.
Jordan called Robert and he said he was on his way that he was almost there. He asked,” can I back up to a gate of their backyard?”
“Stepping outside now and yes there is a gate you can pull up to. It is on the left side of the apartment.” Said Jordan.
Then Robin and Madison were bringing in groceries.
“You help Robert, I’ll help Madison and Robin.” Said Sam.
Jordan saw Robert’s truck pull up backwards going towards the back fence. Jordan went out to guide them back.
“Okay, that’s fine, right there!” Said Jordan. The guys got out of the truck and Jordan went around the back to look for a spot. Robert and Scott were already grabbing the wood and bringing it into the backyard.
“Right up next to the porch wall.” Said Jordan. Then she started grabbing wood. They had it done in 10 minutes. They went inside and Robin was just finishing up with Madison and Allison.

The all said goodbye to Madison and Allison and Jordan said, “don’t worry about anything just relax and enjoy your apartment and your free cable. You guys are off tomorrow, just veg out.”

They parked in the driveway at her mom’s house. They heard the dogs in the backyard and Jordan spoke to them, “hey babies! We’ll see you in a few minutes.” Hi mom!” Called Jordan. She added, “how are you doing?”

“Are you sure, I cannot talk you into going to see a doctor on Monday?” Asked Jordan.
“If it will you reassured that I’m okay I’ll go.” Her mom said.
“Yes, it would make me very happy, thank you mom.” Said Jordan in a loving voice.
“Have you eaten today? Can we fix you something?” Asked Jordan.
“Yes, I’ve eaten twice today.” Said her mom.
“Good!” Jordan said. She added, “can I go with you Monday, would you mind?” Asked Jordan
“Sure, you can go.” Answered her mom.
“Thanks mom.” Said Jordan. She added, “what time do you want to go?”
“How about 9 o’clock?” Asked her mom.
“That sounds fine,” Jordan said. Then she added, “okay, we will let you be and do you want me to take the dogs with me?”
“No, they’re fine. They keep me company” her mom said.
Then Jordan thought about Madison that the 9 o’clock time she was supposed to meet with her. She would call her later.
Then they said goodbye and left to go to her home to see what Jared and Levi are up to. Then she remembered the house they wanted to look at. They got there, Levi and Jared were out on the front porch in the lounge chairs with what looked like bloody Mary’s.
“Hey, can we have some of that too?” Asked Jordan.
“Go right ahead of their already mixed up and there are celery and olives in the fridge.
“So, what you two been up to? Asked Jordan. She added, do you want to see that house today? Number of the sign?”
“we would love to see it!” Answered Jared. Then added, “I’ll call right now.”
Jordan and Sam went inside make a Bloody Mary. When they came back out Jared said they were showing it today.
“Let us finish the drinks we just made then we will look at it,” Jordan said.
“Okay, they just said to call them,” Jared said.
They just made small talk until they finished the drinks. Jared gave them a call. When he got off the phone said, “We go now we might just meet them there.”
They all piled into Jordan’s Jeep. And were on their way. They showed up when another car pulled in.
“You must be Jared and Levi and I know Sam and Jordan.
“How have you been?” He asked. Then added, “Thanks for seeing us on such short notice.”

They all walked in and saw that it needs some work, not a lot but some. Kitchens already done looks perfect. They walked through the house and saw that the two bathrooms were done also looks perfect too.
Jared and Levi were talking about knocking out a wall or two to open up the space and hardwood floors in throughout the house except for the bathrooms, of course, were already done. “Yeah! That’s how you work a deal!” Levi said hugging his husband and kissing him all over his face. Jordan and Sam were excited for them and said, “were so glad to be close more time of the year!”
“I’m so worried about my mom, she just not the same right now.” Said Jordan.
Sam asked, “would you like to come with you?”

“You want to stop and get bloody Mary mix and vodka and probably olives and celery.”
