Chapter 5
The next day Sam went over to her place and Jordan went over to Robins. She and Robin started doing a search in the closest County next to them came up with a hit.
“This has got to be them it was their phone number and address. So before she had a chance to talk yourself out of it. She dialled the number and a female answered. Robin wanted to listen so she put it on speakerphone. She asked, “is the mother of Samantha Parker? We have a Samantha Giovanni she must’ve changed her name.”
“You know her! You know where she’s at?” Said the voice. She added, “this is her mother!”
“Can you hang on a minute?” Asked Sam’s mother.
“Yes, that’s fine!” Said Jordan.
“I am back with her father on the line!” Said Sam’s mother. She added, “my name is Maria and my husband’s name is Antonio. We thought we would never hear from her again. Feel so badly the way we treat her.”
“She doesn’t know I’m calling.” Said Jordan. She added, “but I know she would like to see you!” I’m marrying her on the 15th and was wondering if you would want to come and celebrate this special day with both of us?”
“We would love too! And you think she would want to see us?” Asked Maria.
“I’m sure of it!” Said Jordan. She added,” I need your sizes and shoe size for special order.”
Maria gave them their sizes and then Jordan said, “you should get them in a week.”
“Antonio is so pleased that you called!” Maria said. Antonio said, “yes, I’m very happy that you called.” He added, “what is your address?”
Jordan gave it to them and then said, “I really hope to see you there!”
“Oh, we will be! We are so happy, it’s been too long.” Antonio said. Maria agreed wholeheartedly.
Jordan said, “we’ll see you there! Bye for now.” They hung up. Jordan Robin gave each other a hug and cried a little.
“She’s going to be so mad at me, but she’ll get over it right?” Jordan asked.
“Sure, she will!” Answered Robin. She added, “Now let’s get those orders sent.”
They got them sent and then finished the other arrangements that needed to be made. Jordan called Sam and asked how she was doing at her house then asked,” is Jared and Levi helping any?”
“Yes, they are helping me a lot!” Answered Sam. She added, “We’ve already made two trips, one to the house and one to the storage unit. And I’ve been cooking in between!”
“Yes, I haven’t eaten lunch today. I’ve been saving my appetite for you.” Jordan said.
“Do you think you’ve got everything that she wanted to get at your house?” Jordan asked. “Yes, I have now I can put on the rental listing.” Answered Sam.
“I think we're about finished so I’m going to head home unless you need me, honey?” Asked Jordan.
“No, I’ve got everything under control.” Answered Sam.
Robin and Jordan finished. And Robin said, “Sam may be mad at first but she’ll get over it once she spends time with them at the wedding reception.”
“I hope you are right I feel like I made a big mistake.” Said Jordan.
“I’m sure of it!” Answered Robin then added, “I’ll see you tomorrow okay?” Asked Robin
Jordan answered, “sure, I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye Robin.” They gave each other a hug.
Jordan fixed herself a Bloody Mary and then started a fire then sat in one of the chairs around the pit.
Jordan called Sam, “how much did you fix enough to invite a few people over?”
Sam answered, “sure, give them a call. It will be another 30 minutes and get out the good wine.”
Jordan called Robin and had she call her parents then Jordan called her mom and the chief and Madison and Allison.
She already knew that Jared and Levi were invited for helping Sam out. But she called Sam just in case.
Her mom and Robin showed up first and Jordan told her mom about Sam’s parents coming but it was a secret.
“I can keep a good secret!” Said her mom. Jordan added,” I know you can, that’s what I told you. If you and Robin that know okay?”
“Okay, mums the word!” Said Robin and Jordan’s mom. “So what’s for dinner?” Asked her mom.
“You know as much as I do nothing!” Said Jordan. “How about you guys help me hang up Sam’s clothes and add a spice of Sam around the house with their stuff?” Asked Jordan.
They all three got work first they put up the cloths and then they added touches of Sam around the house.” Looks nice!” Said Jordan. She added, “thanks guys! Now, why don’t we sit down with a glass wine.” They all three agreed.
The chief, Madison and Allison showed up just before Mary and Robert Robin’s mom and dad. They all got a glass of wine. Then Sam, Jared and Levi showed up in Sam’s wonderful new truck. Jordan stepped out and asked if they needed any help. Said no we got it. Jordan said okay and went back inside and sat down.
All three of them were carrying cooking pans with lids and set them on the bar. Sam said to Jared and Levi, “what do we get a glass of wine first before we serve. Jared said no complaints from me. Sam said “you guys were awesome! Thank you very much! I could not have done it without you!” They said, “ no problem. It’s thanks for letting us stay at your house.” Sam said back, “stay as long as you like the least until we find a renter. I’m renting out for the week.
Jared said, “well, you’re looking for a place to stay, while we are fixing our house. Why not rent to us!? You know how we are and we are neat people”
Sam answered,” that would be a great idea! Why not finalize it before we leave for our honeymoon?”
“That will be awesome!” Said both Jared and Levi. They added, “we need a couple of weeks that’s okay?”
“That will not be a problem.” Answered Sam. They toasted.
“Now I am going to go find my woman.” Said Sam. He found her outside. Jordan saves a seat for her.
She leaned over and gave Jordan a long kiss and then said, “I’ve missed you so much today!”
“I’ve missed you so much too!” Said Jordan. Then they just looked at each other longingly. Sam drowned out the noise then could hear Joss stone in the background.
“Listen everybody! This will be the last time we are all together until after the Honeymoon so,
I made a special dish is one of my favorite, hope everybody likes calzones and I made them from scratch!” “Help yourselves” she said. And so, everybody did. Everyone commented how much they love them and they were great. There was a lot of thank you’s going around. As she said, “you’re welcome!”
They were all enjoying nice night too. The wind was calm. You can hear the seagulls and the waves not too far from where they are. There was a crescent moon still lit up the sky. Jordan looked over at Sam and couldn’t believe that Sam picked her. She thought pinching herself to see if it was really true.
After everyone had their fill of the calzones and wine they started saying their goodbyes and began to leave. Jared, Levi and Jordan’s mom and Robin were last to leave. Because there were a few things in the back of the truck. Jared and Levi brought them in and her mom and Robin helped clean up.
Jordan said, “now I know you’ve got to be tired mom, you wanted to go on home? Sam said, “I’ll give you a ride home.” Jordan mom answered, “that would be nice.” So she gave Jordan a big hug and whispered in your ear, I love you so very much. Jordan whispered back, I love you so very much too. Then she went with Sam.
“I’ll be back in a minute.” Said Sam.
“Good, I’ve got a surprise for you!” Said Jordan. She added, “it is not sex, but that could be arranged!”
Robin stayed and help arrange what was brought from the truck. They finished quickly and looked pretty nice. Jordan got back and then asked, “Robin you ready should go?” And Robin said, “if you both could just sit outside and watch me get to my home, that would be great. Then Jordan and Sam poured another glass of wine and went outside to watch Robin go home. She said good night and that she loved them.
They finished their drinks, put sand on the fire and went to the bedroom. Jordan said she needed a shower and she would love for Jordan to join her. They both undressed each other and got to shower.
