Twin Flame Journey 012: Boundaries

I have read with a lot of decks over the years, but I had never made one. So I did. It is a homemade oracle deck of 100 cards, built from plain index cards, tape, and a couple of pens. Then I drew my very first card, and I am still smiling about it.

Why I Made a Deck

I wanted messages that were clear and kind. No riddles, no fear, and nothing that tells you what is going to happen. Just a short nudge you can sit with over a cup of tea.

I built the deck around three themes I keep coming back to:

• Twin Flame Journey (34 cards)
• Soulmate Connections (33 cards)
• Past Life Connections (33 cards)

How I Built It

1. Chose the themes. Three topics, each with its own personality and its own questions.
2. Wrote the messages. I worked with Claude to draft 100 unique messages, each one just two or three sentences so it fits comfortably on a card. Every message also got a one-word theme, like Timing, Trust, Karma, or Boundaries.
3. Gathered everything in a spreadsheet. This made it easy to check that no two cards said the same thing and to keep the three themes balanced.
4. Printed and cut. Each message became a small slip of paper.
5. Taped the slips onto index cards. Ruled cards, a little tape, nothing fancy.
6. Added the handwriting. The topic and card number go across the top in black ink, and the theme runs down the edge in red.

I love how imperfect it looks. A little tape, a little ink, and a lot of intention.

The Part That Gave Me Goosebumps

Out of a hundred cards, the first one I drew is number 12. My birthday is on the 12th.

I will happily take a wink from the universe. Birthdays are a natural time to take stock, and this card arrived with a message I needed to hear: love and rest belong together, and saying no can be an act of care. I am reading it as a gentle reminder to protect my peace in the year ahead, and to trust that doing so strengthens every bond I value, including the one I have with myself.

What Is Next

I plan to pull a card regularly and share what comes up, with a few thoughts on how each message lands. The deck is brand new, so I am curious to see which cards show up again and again.
