So this happened today.
I went to grab something off the bathroom counter and caught a flash of teal out of the corner of my eye — right there, tucked between the blades of my fake grass planter, was one of my Na’vi figures. Fully camouflaged. Just waiting.
I’m guessing this is meant to be one of the mother figures from the Avatar line — that quiet, watchful energy she’s got going on, half-hidden behind the leaves like she’s sizing up the room before she steps out. Whoever set her there (was it me, in some past fit of shelf-organizing chaos, or did she migrate there on her own initiative?) picked the perfect spot. The artificial plant does an almost unsettlingly good job of reading as Pandoran undergrowth once you squint.
There’s something very on-brand about finding a blue alien warrior lurking in a bathroom planter. No ceremony, no display case, just pure ambush energy in the middle of an ordinary Thursday. It’s the kind of small, weird, delightful thing that makes a space feel lived-in and a little bit alive.
She’s staying right where she is. Some things don’t need to be rescued from the jungle — they just need to be found there.
