We experience fear in many moments and areas of our life, fear of failure, new beginnings, changes in life, loneliness, bad news, illness, however, we often ignore that fear is a weapon of the very well designed enemy that makes us desist at the moment of wanting to face a difficulty because it makes us doubt our ability and even more, what God can do to help us.

Fear as a definition is an unpleasant feeling that scares us or makes us believe that we are in danger from something that can harm us. In the Bible, fear is mentioned in two senses, such as fear of God (which speaks of respect, reverence and recognition of its greatness) and the fear that is related to fear and those feelings of insecurity and distrust, in this case is that fear that we should not feel, but that unfortunately sometimes even without our intention we allow it to gradually enter into our life.

There are many verses from the Bible that speak about fear, but they all have something in common, they are messages from God to encourage us in each moment of weakness, because although God knows our capacity and gives us at all times his support and his company he also knows that our human nature sometimes weighs more and although we know that He is with us, we end up believing everything that the enemy wants to prevent through fear.

You can be a valuable person with beautiful skills and gifts, but the fear of what is around stops you, it's like an imaginary chain that keeps you tied and does not let you move forward, as if a part of you is convinced of what you can do but another at the same time makes you doubt and only keeps you wasting your opportunity to do the things you have proposed.

Do you remember those plans you had, so many goals and purposes that you wanted to fulfill, the ministries you wanted to start discovering? Where are you now? Maybe without realizing you have been a victim of fear that subtly disguises and discourages you making you think of criticism, ridicule, gossip, needs or shortcomings, and you have forgotten that God has put everything in your hands to make it happen.

The fear does not come when starting to travel a road, it comes when you have walked a good part because its function is to discourage you and prevent you from progressing and reaching the goal you have set for yourself, it is a silent weapon of the enemy to stop the steps of who it is aimed at victory, it is a lie that is planted and takes root preventing you from producing fruits.

The only way to prevent fear from taking hold of your desire to move forward, or to throw it out of your life if it has been made present, is closeness to God, a relationship of trust and communication with Him generates a sense of security, the conviction that there is nothing to fear because it is He who walks by your side.

In love there is no fear, but perfect love casts out fear; because fear carries punishment in itself. Whence he who fears, has not been perfected in love. 1 John 4:18

Many times, although we already know it, there are certain situations in which, because of the difficulty we face, the first thing we do is to run away and forget everything, letting fear fulfill its purpose of preventing our growth.

In the whole word of God it is said in different ways and illustrations that you DO NOT THINK but not to fear is a decision that only you should make, only you can take the courage to continue, to go forward and move forward, and to show God that you love trusting Him

In God I have trusted; I will not fear; What can man do to me?
Psalm 56:11...
