I hope you guys are doing great.
Today, I am gonna post about the second highest peak located in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The name of this peak is Hatu Peak and it is located at an elevation of 3400 meters above the sea level and the peak is surrounded by dense forests.
This peak is located on Shimla-Rampur highway and is around 70 Kilometers from Shimla, the road to Hatu Peak diverts from Narkanda and from there Hatu Peak is around 8 Kilometers which you can cover either by driving or by trekking but the road is too congested that only one car can pass at a time.
At the top of the peak the road ends and there's small wooden temple called Hatu Temple. I covered this peak for the first time in the month of August though that time is not safe for traveling due to landslides and heavy rainfalls but I was lucky enough at that time. I was on a bike trip along with four other bikers and it was my first time to ride in the hills. I enjoyed riding with full of adventure and thrills.
