Hello Steemians
I hope you guys are enjoying the weekend.
Today is very special day for me and my country as India celebrated its 69th Republic Day today.
On this day in 1950 that is 26th January 1950, the Constitution Of India came into force replacing Government Of India Act 1935 as the governing document of mighty India.
The Constitution was adopted on 26th January 1949 and came into force on 26th Jan 1950 with a democratic government system.
This day was chosen as Republic Day because on this day in 1929, the declaration of Indian independence was proclaimed by Indian National Congress.
Republic Day is celebrated in every city of India, the main celebration is held in National Capital New Delhi at the Rajpath before the Honourable President of India.
And today we had a cricket match with New Zealand and India performed so well and won the match on Republic Day which made the day even more special, I also placed bet on India today and I won too.
A lot of matches are going on these days and today I will be betting on England vs West Indies test match, I will place bet on draw on which the odds are around 5.15 and the other bet I will be placing on Australian Open match between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. I will go with Nadal as he is my 2nd favourite after Roger Federer and the odds on Nadal is 2.14.
So in total I will place an accumulator bet that match will be draw and Nadal will win and then total odds would be around 10. Something. I will place around $1.
Hope for the best.
If you wanna bet you can bet at your own risk.
I will be back soon.
In the end Happy Republic Day Indians.
Thank You
