It has always been a mystery how as a child I was blessed with tons of gifts but as I grew older they slowly vanished

@cleevesh I hope you enjoy this post
Backward 12-15 years ago, I was a special kid, my mum always marveled about the countless gift I was born with and how much enthusiasm I had when showing off these gifts.
This was me approximately 15 years ago playing the saxophone, I was 9 years at that time. Let me share with you a quick story about how this day.
I develop a love for wind instruments with a few others but my favorite lessons were my wind instrument lessons, I remember getting my first instrument which was the recorder, and with so much excitement in me I played this instrument everywhere I go, on my way to school I was playing it, on my way to church I was playing it, I played it everywhere I feet led me, Yes! I got very good at it. I was also given a hymn book and I could literally play more than 100 songs by reading the note, both my coach and my fellow student were really amazed by how much I have known.
Fast forward to the event, I was placed as the lead saxophonist and the funny thing is I never had a saxphone but how did I get one, the fact that I was very good and as the lead saxophonist I was supposed to have one, so they collected a saxophone from one my fellow saxophonist and he didn't get the chance to play, I fell bad while playing but at the same time we had to give an awesome presentation.
If I was told by a fortune teller that I won't be able to play saxophone honestly I wouldn't believe it.
This is me years after, trust me I don't know anything about playing the saxophone 馃槀 but I still had some gift.
Have you ever had gift that vanished when you got? Lemme know in the comment section.
This is my first participation in the weekend experience conveyed by @galenkp.
Till we meet again, thank you for reading鉂わ笍
