Serious thought is being put into the infrastructure necessary to create a permanent human presence in space. Water is the key because it is composed of H2O. We need water to drink, Oxygen to breath and Hydrogen for fuel. The presence of vast quantities of water on the Moon will serve as an off planet gas station, if you will. Getting out of Earth's gravity well is extremely difficult and uses a lot of fuel. If we can refuel once outside of Earth’s gravity, it will allow for much cheaper missions. Good luck to the early pioneers with the courage to risk it all to make this a reality. I wonder if these orbiting "gas stations" will accept Bitcoin?
