Without commenting on "why", the former International Monetary Fund economist closed his big short on Bitcoin from January of 2018. We can all speculate on why he did this but he did not give a definitive reason other than to say in effect he is done with this. There is a lot of chatter among analysts proclaiming Bitcoin is on the verge of another run. In the meantime, we have a few proclaiming Bitcoin is dead. With the billions being spent on infrastructure and trading desks, etc, I have a hard time believing it will just all disappear. Is this one more example of an analyst seeing the writing on the wall and voting with his money? Mr. Dow ain’t talking so we just have to wait and watch. As for me, I am going to increase my holdings and see what happens. HODL everybody!
