Bitcoin On Track to Transfer More Value Than Mastercard!

It is hard to believe given this recent pull back but Bitcoin is about to challenge Mastercard in the daily transfer of value. Presently Mastercard is transferring $12 billion per day. Bitcoin is transferring over $8 billion per day. The article points out this is not yet an accurate comparison because Mastercard is transferring money between merchants and purchasers, while Bitcoin is transferring large amounts of value between institutions. Bitcoin recently transferred $600 million for a fee of $7. To transfer that same amount of money with a bank would cost over $10,000 in fees, not to mention the delays and paperwork.
