A few months ago my dad brought her home and since then she has been the promoting focus of energy and tenderness in my house. This blessing responds to the name of Nala, a name that my sister chose inspired by the movie "The Lion King" and that apparently has come as a neck strap for our little dog.
Nala is a Belgian pastor. The most striking thing about her is her deep black color. This characteristic, added to her frequent restlessness, makes it very difficult to take photos of her to document her growth. The best moments I have been able to capture have been when she has been on a rest for a few minutes.
This puppy is quite distrustful. Every time a visitor arrives she keeps staring and barks from the living room door. She doesn't like strangers approaching us. However, she has, at the same time, an emotional and protective side for us who are her family.
When I arrive from some exit, as soon as I ring the keys to open the door I can already hear her little paws on the other side to receive me. She is also a fan of lying on my bed. I let her because that's when she lets me pamper her and she stays calm. If it were up to me, she could even borrow in my name 😂. Once I was very sick, with high fevers, and she kept by my side all the time.
She also likes to climb on a chair to watch us when we are all in that room. Besides, she's my sister's ideal playmate.
Clearly for us this little one is much more than a distraction, it is also a responsibility and a commitment so that she continues to give us her light for many many years. Honestly, since she arrived, Nala has become my best companion.

Hace unos meses mi papá la trajo a casa y desde entonces ha sido el foco promotor de energía y ternura en mi casa. Esta bendición responde al nombre de Nala, nombre que mi hermana eligió inspirada en la película de "El Rey León" y que al parecer ha venido como correa al cuello para nuestra pequeña perra.
Nala es una pastora belga. Lo que más llama la atención de ella es su color negro tan profundo. Esta característica sumada a su frecuente inquietud hace que sea muy díficil tomarle fotos para documentar su crecimiento. Los mejores instantes que he podido capturar han sido cuando ella ha estado en un reposo de pocos minutos.
Esta cachorra es bastante desconfiada. Cada vez que llega una visita se mantiene observando fijamente y ladra desde la puerta del salón. No le gustan que los extraños se nos acerquen. Sin embargo tiene, a la misma vez, un lado emocional y protector para nosotros que somos su familia.
Cuando llego de alguna salida, apenas sueno las llaves para abrir la puerta ya puedo escuchar sus patitas del otro lado para recibirme. También es fan a acostarse en mi cama. Yo se lo permito porque es entonces cuando me deja mimarla y se mantiene tranquila. Si fuera por mí, ella hasta podría pedir préstamos a mi nombre 😂. Una vez estuve muy enfermo, con altas fiebres, y ella se mantuvo todo el tiempo haciéndome compañía.
También le gusta treparse en una silla para observarnos cuando todos estamos en ese salón. Además, es la compañera de juegos ideal de mi hermana.
Claramente para nosotros esta pequeña es mucho más que una distracción, es también una responsabilidad y un compromiso para que nos siga brindando su luz por muchos muchos años. Sinceramente, desde que llegó, Nala se ha convertido en mi mejor compañera.
