Will POB be the new Bitcoin?

In the last few days I have read some posts including the most recent ones by @themarkymark and @azircon which show that many Hive users are investing in POBs because they are interested exclusively, or almost exclusively, in Bitcoin-like inflation, i.e. a 50% reduction in coins issued every 4 years (halving) until reaching the last POB beyond 2120, more than a century, leaving a legacy for our grandchildren.

The total supply of POBs has been established at 21 million coins and currently they are printed with a frequency of 40 POBs per block produced. The users of the HIVE community therefore looked at this detail carefully and immediately started to buy POB tokens, stake them and get rewards from curation. The substantial difference from the energy point of view is enormous compared to Bitcoin, a 100% eco-sustainable product, of what Elon Musk would like. Buying a Tesla in POB? Today many could laugh at the very thought, as indeed 12 years ago they mocked Bitcoin, but history has then shown us other things.

POB currently has a similar value to Bitcoin in its next few months of life, in fact at the moment I believe it is even higher. Creating a POB wallet and contributing to community value is the least any user can do right now and see a little bit of how things will evolve in the future.

For the future it will be curious to observe how Proofofbrain intends to evolve. If he remains confined to Hive, his success will be exclusively linked to our community, hoping for the influx of new users who could automatically be catapulted into the POB project. Or try to grab attention even outside the community, a bit like Leofinance is doing, and look for potential investors in the vast crypto world. To do this, it will be necessary to program some product or tool or marketing aimed at attracting users from other ecosystems.

The strength and value of a project is the community that supports it. So far the users of the @proofofbrain community are supporting the project with constancy and commitment, both by interacting with posts and comments, and by making the POB market among the most reactive on Hive-Engine and LeoDex. Supported by the great whales that continue to drive the community, investors are always enthusiastic but this frenzy will have to be confirmed with some products, such as the great job @leprechaun is doing with Ecency for POB, to ensure a valid and fast front-end, hoping it will soon be fully functional to permanently replace the current hive.blog front-end.
