A few days ago, traveling around Milan for work reasons, my colleague took me to lunch at the Osteria delle Commari. The cuisine is typical Roman and I love it so we decided to sit down and have lunch.
The restaurant is not very big but it is really cozy, clean and bright. Everything is very neat like the arrangement of the tables and the bottles of wine on display on the large side wall.
The menu is really rich in delicacies and I immediately ordered a nice plate of rigatoni alla carbonara strictly with guanciale and pecorino). My colleague opted instead for trofie, guanciale, cherry tomato and rocket.
The dishes are very abundant and for a working lunch break it is optimal. Furthermore, the carbonara is a substantial dish and I preferred not to order anything else. It is advisable to always book in order not to have to wait for the table to be free, especially in the middle hours of meals. Osteria delle Commari is open every day from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 19:00 to 23:00, while it is closed on Sundays
