Perfect weekend to spend a few days at the beach and, at the suggestion of some friends, we decided to take our lunch at the Osteria del Porto, in Torre a Mare.
in reality it is a tavern where you order food and you can decide to take away the food or stop to eat at the tables that the restaurant makes available to customers.
It was too hot to eat on the beach and we decided to eat at the table, under a nice awning. The tavern has a great variety of food, especially in the sea. My wife and I ordered spaghetti with seafood, baked potato and rice mussels, a mixed seafood fry (shrimp, cuttlefish, octopus) and octopus salad.
The food was really very good and plentiful. Maybe you don't notice well in the photos, but the dishes were giant! The products are purchased daily from a local fish market, guaranteeing the freshness and quality of the food. If you want to find a place at the tables I advise you not to have lunch in the main hours (12: - 14:00).
In all we spent 31 euros. A great price for product quality!
