These are snapshots of a painting I'm finishing - though I'd discarded it many years ago!

I've sold the other side if this piece, but my dear friend saw the back painting and wants to hang it in a way that'll allow her to change sides when she chooses...

So I'm correcting a fairly scuffed and neglected surface, which is a collage of paper figures, salvaged from several years' work when I lived in Cyprus.

I love working with collage; playing with positions of figures and overall composition.... Haven't done this in a long time.

Looking forward to it drying and then driving it to its new home in Caserta, in a couple of weeks.... And it was actually quite thrilling to repair an old artwork that I no longer valued - to bring care and life back into it.
