I wanted to share these images: am very happy to have finally refound a pile of my handmade art books from years ago! I was searching my cupboards, drawers, folders and portfolios for a month, and the most elusive one was in the filing cabinet, under 'book projects' - doh! 馃榿
Each pair is the front and the back of a page - I made a few books like this over the decades, and am excited now to revisit them... I want to document the pages well, and get them somehow onto the blockchain - if anyone can advise how to do that, I'd be so grateful! I'm going to research it a bit today.
Most of my handmade art books have transparent pages like this one - so the images show through the layers. This small book in particular 'Catharsis-Growth' has multiple images that relate in a series. It was created both in Cyprus and Scotland.
It can be so powerful, looking back at older work, seeing the purity of it; feeling the vitality of my younger self, pulsing through my cells still!
More to come!
Clare.
