I joined the community not quite long and I love the weekly topics because it helps me with what to write. The first time I participated in the weekend engagement, I never knew there was any price for selected posts. It was when I recieved I think 4 hive and read the post where I was mentioned that I came to understand what was going on. I believe anything worth doing is worth doing well. Creating good posts should always be at the front of our mind because anything we showcase on the blockchain speaks a lot about who we are.

I think the price should not be the reason people should work to produce nice content. I love when I read good contents and I'm always glad to engage and become friends. I wouldn't want to have anything to do with garbage posts and I believe no one would want to. So we should all understand that our selljng point on hive is good original contents.

Having said that, the price you give weekly for the best posts shouldn't be mandatory. If it's what you love and would continue with, I think it isn't bad as well. A little encouragement touches the mind. We are humans and are bound to be touched by any act of kindness. Just like me, I write not expecting any price, but was glad and appreciative when I was mentioned.

The thing is we should all find the initiatives within ourselves with or without the prices you send, try to build relationship with people and let the fun keep going.

What is worth doing is worth doing well as I've said.

Suggestion : Maybe you can have a list of all the weekend posts in your monday annoucemnet in categories (good content, average and below average). Maybe this will encourage people to come up with better content because as for me, I wouldn't want to find my name in the below average frequently so I would want to step up my game if I want to keep posting in the community. This is just to ginger us to do better.

It's just an opinion

I really commend your effort. One hundred and thirteen consecutive weeks isn't a joke. Well done.
