Las chicas argentinas consiguen un punto y se mantienen con vida en el grupo de la muerte [ESP/ENG]
Luego de perder ante Italia las albicelestes tenian que salir con todo para la segunda fecha contra Sudafrica, un partido que en teoria debia ser facil para Argentina pero se convirtio en un calvario para las chicas y toda su aficion, pues las sudafricanas complicaron el partido y tal cual como lo hicieron ante Suecia en la primera fecha se adelantaron en el marcador.
Este joven equipo de Sudafrica juega muy bien al futbol, tienen un esquema que se basa en la presion alta y en transiciones rapidas en la ofensiva, asi llegaron los dos goles que consiguieron el dia de ayer.
Las chicas argentinas se vieron abrumadas en la primera mitad, era impresionante para todo espectador ver como las sudafricanas tenian el control del partido, pero esto es lo hermoso del futbol femenino pues hay un nivel excelente en la mayoria de los equipos participantes. Quizas se espera mucho de las albicelestes por quedar en 3er lugar en la pasada Copa America pero lo cierto es que su futbol no esta teniendo los resultados deseados.
Se podria decir que salieron baratas antes de irse al descanso, recibieron dos goles y uno fue anulado por posicion adelantada de la sudafricana pero claramente las superaron. La segunda mitad comenzaria igual, con Sudafrica rompiendo el juego de las sudamericanas en la mitad de la cancha y atacando por las bandas con mucha velocidad y precision, bastaron solo 21 minutos para que esa presion surtiera efecto y tras un robo de balon anotar el segundo gol que "sepultaba" las aspiraciones albicelestes.
After losing to Italy the Albicelestes had to go all out for the second date against South Africa, a match that in theory should be easy for Argentina but became an ordeal for the girls and all their fans, because the South Africans complicated the game and just as they did against Sweden in the first date they went ahead on the scoreboard.
This young South African team plays very good soccer, they have a scheme that is based on high pressure and fast transitions in the offensive, thus came the two goals they got yesterday.
The Argentinean girls were overwhelmed in the first half, it was impressive for every spectator to see how the South Africans were in control of the game, but this is the beauty of women's soccer because there is an excellent level in most of the participating teams. Perhaps much is expected of the Albicelestes for finishing 3rd in the last Copa America but the truth is that their soccer is not having the desired results.
It could be said that they came out cheap before going to the break, they conceded two goals and one was disallowed for an advanced position of the South Africans but they clearly outplayed them. The second half started the same way, with South Africa breaking the South Americans' game in the middle of the field and attacking through the wings with great speed and precision, it only took 21 minutes for that pressure to take effect and after a steal of the ball to score the second goal that "buried" the Albiceleste's aspirations.
Honestamente las vi eliminadas en este punto, cero capacidad de reaccion y nada de buen juego, si bien intentaron no estaban generando en lo absoluto, de hecho estaba mas cerca el tercero de las sudafricanas que una remontada, pero como el futbol es hermoso en todos sus niveles llegaria un golazo de Sophia Braun desde fuera del area que traeria ilusion a las argentinas.
No paso mucho tiempo para que llegase el empate, solo cinco minutos y Romina Nuñez marcaba de cabeza, cuando lo hizo todo el banquillo suramericano exploto en algarabia y soño con la remontada. Las chicas sudafricanas revivieron los fantasmas de su juego contra Suecia donde jugaron mejor y dejaron ir el triunfo luego de ir ganando.
Afortunadamente para ellas el partido quedo 2-2 las argentinas aunque lo intentaron no pudieron remontar pero consiguieron un punto importante para soñar con una remota clasificacion, lo mejor que podria pasar es que se de un empate entre italianas y suecas dentro de unas horas y que todo se decida en la tercera fecha que posiblemente sera de infarto.
Honestly I saw them eliminated at this point, zero ability to react and no good game, although they tried they were not generating at all, in fact it was closer the third of the South Africans than a comeback, but as soccer is beautiful at all levels would come a great goal from Sophia Braun from outside the area that would bring illusion to Argentina.
It didn't take long for the equalizer to arrive, only five minutes and Romina Nuñez scored with a header, when she did it, the whole South American bench exploded with joy and dreamed of a comeback. The South African girls revived the ghosts of their game against Sweden where they played better and let the victory slip away after winning.
Fortunately for them the match ended 2-2, the Argentines although they tried they could not come back but they got an important point to dream with a remote qualification, the best thing that could happen is that there is a draw between Italians and Swedes in a few hours and that everything will be decided in the third date that possibly will be a heart attack.
