Another beautiful weekend in Splinterlands

Yo Splinters,

It’s another beautiful weekend and I woke up on the good side of my bed today. I have been fighting battles on Splinterlands since morning after I had breakfast and completed doing my chores. First of all, I claimed my daily streak reward in the FRONTIER league which was 100 SPARKS plus an extra 15 SPARKS. I started in the MODERN league and was able to take my GLINT balance all the way from 1k to 2k. I'm pretty sure that if I follow this path of staying active on a daily basis, I'll definitely achieve my seasonal goal of hitting 6k GLINT this season. With the way I'm going, I might surpass 6k like just like I did last season. I'm also making plans of purchasing more SPS as I'm missing out a lot on the rewards I'm supposed to be getting in the MODERN league after winning 5 battles everyday. My GLINT balance for the season is now at 2038 while the total balance is 45,136. The battles in the MODERN league this morning were quite fun and wasn’t that challenging.

After hitting over 2k GLINTS, I decided to move over to the FRONTIER league to fight some battles and was able to indulge in a couple fights. The energy was massive as I won over five battles and was rewarded for my bravery. So far I’ve also won 12 entries into the weekly fortune draw which is rounding up in 1 day and 21 hours from now. My reward for the day were 3 foundation cards and one entry into the fortune draw for this week. The name of the cards were the CODEX SAGE, the KANAAQ MINER and the GRAND CONSUL MINION. The cards were all COMMON cards for today and I consider it a big win cos it’s not that easy winning five battles in a day in any league except one is smart. I’ll be back in the MODERN league tonight to see if I can raise the bar a bit more heading towards 3k because I do not have to relent in the pursuit of achieving my goal. It is very fulfilling to achieve it even early in the season. Power in my street has been restored this afternoon and I’m so excited. That’s a sign that it has either been fixed or nothing was actually wrong with it. All the same, It’s a good thing it has been restored.
