There was a time, just a few seasons ago, when I wouldn't even look at the Frontier format; yet now, I have played—and won—more battles in Battle Frontier than in Modern. My win rate in Frontier battles is also slightly better, as you can see in the screenshot above. I finished the season at a ranking of 1220 (Silver League, Tier 3) in Frontier, while in Modern, I ended at 1920 (Gold League, Tier 3). I secured a total of 89 victories in Frontier compared to 73 in Modern; one reason for this is simply that I played more battles in Frontier than in Modern this time around. Somehow, I found myself enjoying Frontier battles more right from the start of the season. I decided to play just enough in both modes to complete the daily challenges, but I prioritized finishing the Frontier challenges first—only moving on to the Modern ones if I had time left over. Consequently, there were days when I managed to play only a few battles in Modern.
I earned a significant amount of Glint early in the season and used it to purchase several rarity draws; additionally, I spent a large portion of my earnings on consumables—specifically Alchemy and Legendary Potions. As the season concludes, I have a total of 31,205 Glint, which I hope to use tomorrow to buy plenty of Rare draws, thereby setting my deck's Rare cards on the path to higher-level upgrades. I ranked 147th on the Modern leaderboard, which is a solid result. I played a total of 154 battles with a peak win streak of 10—an excellent achievement—though my win rate did drop; it fell to 47.4% this season, down from the 50–55% (and even 57% at one point) seen in previous seasons. I hope to improve this figure in the coming season, during which I also plan to play more Modern than Frontier, as I need to accumulate enough Glint—starting from nearly zero—to purchase at least one Legendary draw.
You can see my Frontier Battles leaderboard below; while I have a high number of victories, I have also played a large number of battles because, as I mentioned, I spent more time in Frontier than in Modern this season. However, since I still have a relatively basic card collection, I struggle to string together consecutive wins in Frontier; consequently, my maximum win streak there is less than half of what it is in Modern. This is precisely why I have started playing Frontier alongside Modern—I want to pull Foundation set cards and upgrade them to the maximum level, which will eventually improve my gameplay in both formats. In the Frontier Silver League, completing daily challenges earns you three cards (instead of two) and a chest containing an entry; as far as I know, a player can complete three challenges a day and receive these rewards three times—meaning it is possible to acquire nine Foundation cards daily. If you also use Alchemy and Legendary Potions, you increase your chances of adding higher-rarity cards to your deck alongside the common ones. Personally, I managed to add four Gold and two Legendary cards to my deck in just the last season.
