I may not be a love expert but yes! I know a few guidelines to sustaining a relationship. Lots of relationships do not last for a long period of time due to lack of these keys. Partners who love each other dearly experience the sweetest kind of relationship as love is not supposed to be a one-sided thing. Being involved in a peaceful relationship is capable of making some healthy physically, mentally, emotionally and otherwise since it has to do with happiness and peace of mind. Another thing is that for a relationship to flourish, there must be stability in the flow of income so that needs can be taken care of.
Follow these Guidelines :)
LOVE SINCERELY: Love your partner all you can. When you do so, you won't want to see your him/her sad at anytime and you are happy anytime they are happy. Do whatever it takes to make him/her smile meaning you can make them smile even when they never wanted to.
CARE FOR THEM: Let taking care of them be your duty, pamper them. As a man, treat your lady like your Queen and as a lady, treat your man like your King.
ALWAYS BE ROMANTIC: From time to time, go to outings, Have a drink outdoors, Go see movies. Visit recreational centers. Do not let old age stop you from saying romantic words to your partner or being romantic. Proof to them they are yours forever. Touch them seductively.
BE TOLERANT & DON'T COMPLAIN A LOT: There isn't a relationship or marriage where misunderstanding ceize to occur, but how you both handle the situation shows the level of maturity you both have. As a man, try never to hit your woman. As a woman, try not to say things that is capable of getting your man upset.
BE RESPECTFUL: Respect is reciprocal in marriage or a relationship so abusive words or insults are not advised. Age dosen't come in when it has to do with love. As a man, treat your Queen with respect at all times irrespective of the age range by respecting her feelings always and as a woman, treat your man as a King at all times by giving him all the respect he deserves. If you want to counter your partner's view, do that romantically or sensitively.

LADIES BE LOYAL: Majority of relationships come to an end because there is no loyalty, most wives refuse to be submissive to their husbands. The type of friends the lady keeps could be a factor which gives rise to this. Lack of loyalty happen because of one reason or the other, it might be age-wise (i.e the lady might be older than the man) or it might be financial-wise i.e the lady earns more income than the man. Whatever the case may be, The Man is the head of the family, so any woman who cannot comprehend that might not be able to stay under a man. It's true and fine some women want to be independent, but that does not stop a woman from being loyal to her man. (That is why most men decide to make lots of money before getting into a relationship)

BE TRANSPARENT: Being open/transparent with each other will mean that no one will be hiding a thing from the other and you both are part of each other. This is a major factor which helps to ignite the bond between lovers.
BE LIVELY: Crack jokes with each other, play with each other. Make your partner smile as smiling expands people's life span. Make your partner see reasons why they spend the rest of their life with you. Never give them a reason to regret meeting you.
