3 “And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed”.
Matthew 8:3
Do you know it is Gods will that we are to be healed? Jesus healed the sick who came to Him. The blind, lame, maimed, mute, deaf and the demon-possessed, He healed them all. The bible says that he who has seen Jesus has seen the Father (John 14:9). You want to see how God is like? Look at Jesus. Jesus never made the clean unclean but rather He made the unclean clean. Funny enough Jesus never will see a healthy person and say “you come here; you are healthy receive some leprosy”. As a matter of fact, when the leper came to Him for healing, Jesus full of compassion, told the leper “I will; be thou clean”. Jesus is willing to heal us.
Unfortunately, some Christian who say “Its is God’s will for me to be sick. God has a purpose and its part of His divine plan” but why will Jesus heal the sick, why will He be willing. If you are sick you go to the doctor for treatment, right? But Jesus is our healer. What makes perfect sense is that God wants us to be well. He wants us whole. It is His will that we are to be healed. Jesus took all of our sickness and disease upon His own body so that we don’t have to suffer no more today.
He allowed Himself to be beaten and scourged, so that by His Stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). He has already suffered the sickness on our behalf, why should we suffer it today? If you are sick, know that God did not give you the disease. Hear His gracious word “I am willing, Be Healed”. He is willing, we need to exercise the word for our manifestation.
AMEN.
