It's a latte served in a cookie cup, don't you think it's very ingenious? But not only this, the rim of the cup is spread with nutella or chocolate with hazelnuts and covered with colored sprinkles.
We entered the cafe to get to the outdoor sitting area. I did notice that there were very few seats inside. It meant that most customers had coffee or tea…al fresco.
The atmosphere was so relaxing. The cool, gentle, wind was a perfect match for our cups of warm beverages. For more warmth, we covered our laps with light blankets provided by the cafe.
Being at home the best companion is a nice hot coffee to sweeten our lives, but today I thought of making a 1/4 kilo cake to enjoy with the family and I came across a recipe for a coffee cream that I have never tried and that caught my attention, I decided to make it to decorate my tortica.
We only tried the regular coffee.. their tasty regular coffee, latte, and piccolo. A few roasts to choose from as well which is awesome! A piece of their signature carrot cake was moist and rich! Almost too heavy if you eat the whole thing alone.
Due to the high altitude of the town its been a constant 13c during the day and around 8c in the evenings... which is tough when you are fully loaded with swim shorts and flip flops...And so to soften the blow.. much the same as eating lime after tequila.. the Pox is accompanied by slices of orange adorned with crushed Chiapas coffee beans.
In my country Venezuela 5 years ago there was a shortage of food and increase of the same... because of this shortage many people invented to make coffee with roasted corn flour and black beans, to be able to sell it to consumers, but imagine being used to drinking good quality coffee and that they give you that cup of coffee in that style?
The first thing that catches my eye is the wooden gate, which is common in Korean costume dramas. As I passed through the gate, I noticed white smoke skimming along the ground, as if I were in a fairyland.
To complement the ancient Korean style, the chairs and tables are inspired by Korean traditional chairs and tables.
The atmosphere of the cafeteria was radiant, it was the first time I went to that place, it was a normal day on Friday so busy in my city, the waitress approached and I told her to bring me two delicious coffees and to take away my sleep, I really wanted to relax to be more active in the party and enjoy it, I had worked in the morning and I was a little sleepy, what better medicine to take a cup of coffee to revive me.
As I was reading through the menu list of the place and looking around, a coffee cup appeared on the bar in front of me. The barista told me “Here, this is a compliment for you!”. I asked him if this was really for me and he approved. Wow, a great start of this coffee experience!
I emphasize the batender that I order it for using in the shop, not by taking away. I think they would make it in a pretty cup as I used to get it before in other shops. On the contrary, my capuchino is in the disposable cup with a plastic cover on the top.
Everything was going very well until I tried to grab the jar to pour the sugar. At that moment I made some clumsy move and knocked the jar over near the young woman's coffee cup. As a result, small drops splashed on the table and almost stained her clothes. I took a napkin and was ready to wipe up what I had spilled. But to my surprise the young woman stopped my hand and with a big smile on her lips she took the napkin and wiped the table...
The floods that hit our area have caused losses in almost every way. Including the loss of access to visit our regular coffee outlets. The emergency situation due to the flood still can't beat the desire to consume my coffee.
The girl who served me told me to send her a picture of my face on a white background to WhatsApp. Then, in seconds, the coffee was ready and my biggest surprise was that my face was in it 😍. It's a very particular machine, it's super fast the process and in a matter of seconds your cup of coffee is ready.
Who could imagine that in the ice cream cellar, there was a chocolate popsicle filled with coffee punch?
If this is not something unusual in another country, in my country it is, that also filled me with great joy, because for a low price I could enjoy a tasty ice cream that I had never tried before, made of chocolate and filled with coffee cream, which gives it a unique and strange touch in the world of cold desserts.
Seeing my brother's insistence and denial, our friend took the cup of coffee out of his hands and began to drink it, the expression of the hairdresser was very noticeable which generated some suspicion among us, since it was very evident that that cup of coffee contained something that was directly addressed to my brother.
I was visiting the 'Copenhagen Coffee Lab' at Cais do Sodré, an area in lisbon. Close to the harbour. Yeah, I like the area around here. Its a bit of vintage but also modern, trashy but a kind of fancy, traditional but also open for new stuff.
Specially I like this coffee shop. It has the style of wooden furniture combined with metall elements.
Using a mug that surely has a story to tell, but maybe i dont want to know whose lips this mug has seen. I gave it a quick wash...or maybe I didnt....hmmmmm....should have but i trust it was already clean.
