Love is a beautiful thing, and it is during this season that people try their possible best to put a smile on the face of their lover.
It is Valentine's Day, a season of love. February 14th is a special day for couples to celebrate their partners. One thing I love about this season is that the memories are just real and cool; there is no negative vibe during this season.
I can still remember when I was not in any relationship during this period. I always felt bad because my friends would go out and bring a lot of gifts when they came back from their date.
This is a special season for me. This season holds a lot of memories for me.
The best gift I have received during Valentine's
Like I said, as this season approaches, I am always happy because I know that my boyfriend will surprise me with something that will wow my heart. Since I started receiving gifts on Valentine's Day last year, Valentine's Day has been really amazing. It was last year that I got the best gifts; this is the best gift I have gotten so far. I have never felt this happy before. I could not hold back my tears. It was really crying like a baby. I didn’t expect this gift from him.
After work on Tuesday last year, Valentine, I was very tired. I need someone to rest. My boyfriend was not in town, so I have nowhere to go. After some minutes, my doorbell rang, and I rushed to check who was at the door. To my greatest surprise, my boyfriend sent me an iPhone as my Valentine's Day gift. I was so happy, but I couldn’t hold on to my happiness. As if that were not enough, he gave me money, cake, and perfume. At this point, I was so emotional, and I started crying.
I lifted my head, and my boyfriend was standing in front of me. I hugged him, and I thanked him for everything he bought for me.
Later in the evening, we went to dinner. This is my best Valentine's Day gift. I don’t know how this year's Valentine will be, but I know it will be amazing too.
