Hello, beautiful people!
Happy weekend, cloud hunters!
I shared our wonderful experience at the zoo last week, and while distracted by all the new discoveries inside the attractions, we got the chance to sit for a while on the bench under a shade tree and just enjoy this lovely view of the clouds. While sipping the refreshments we bought at the snack kiosk, our eyes were feasting on these views. I took a few snaps and thought that I'd share them in the Love the Cloud Community.
In the midst of the bustling nation's capital, the greenery, the blue sky, and the gorgeous clouds in the zoo are like a sweet breath of nature. A little paradise for creatures and animals who are lost in the middle of a city filled with tall buildings and infrastructure made by man.
Sitting here for a while, resting out tired feet from a few hours of continuous walking and exploration, I had a lot of realizations in mind, like what if those animals are enjoying the same freedom I felt, just enjoying the nature outside the enclosure?
Wild birds are enjoying the water and food they could get near the pond and flying from tree to tree. Most are doves and tree sparrows, or as we locally call them, maya birds.
Just sitting here makes me miss my trips to the countryside, where I can enjoy nature without any buildings blocking my view. Where I can hear the chirping of the birds and crickets, not the horns of vehicles and airplanes from above.
This is my entry for Love The Clouds Contest #178, hosted by @tobetada, and I'm inviting my friends to join the fun of capturing lovely images of clouds. You can check out the contest details here.
Enjoy your weekend and keep safe!
