At the time of this posting, almost the entire top 100 is green, aside from a few coins lagging behind. With tomorrow being the first business day of the year, and all the big money will be back from holidays, I predict to see some serious buybacks this week.
I'm hoping and predicting that we start to see a lot more utility coins start to make it to the mainstream more. Id love to see more support for altcoins that serve purposes rather than just try to be "the next bitcoin". I think projects like Substratum, Golem, Sia, Privacy coins, and other blockchains that have unique characteristics will shine this year as more of them finish alpha and beta testing sometime in 2018.
