I started stockpiling food in 2008 because I thought hyperinflation was coming.
I was wrong -- inflation was redirected into the markets, which I did take advantage of.
I doubled down on inflation preparedness again in 2021 because there are no more bubbles to inflate.
If needed they'll invent a whole new, really stupid market and then inflate that.
Alternatively due to voting patterns they will inflate home prices to infinity as the first party to let those prices sustain a serious and sustained price drop will make themselves pariahs for a decade or more.
