Good day to all of you Steemians, here to share yet another drawing of mine. This time, it's a hair practice drawing. I always practice drawing whenever I can on my sketchbook and strive to improve however I can. Hair can be tricky at times but once you learn the head structure and how hair flows, it becomes easier to draw them.

I used mechanical pencil and a blender for this drawing, the blender is essential to obtain depth as you will be layering light strokes with dark strokes. (Finished piece shown below)

I drew the head along with the facial features which I then later erased as it was only for visualization purpose.

TIP:

I always try to start the strands where they would start to flow out and give a fast stroke to the end point to obtain better hair texture.
