Greeting esteem-
I was going to post this story everywhere to share, though I thought I'll post it here where I've never posted before. It might be fitting that I'm also introducing myself to the steemit community. I come with new ideas attatched.
I'm a new crypto enthusiast and an artist at heart. I joined steemit with the intent to inspire writing more often and engage to learn more about my new creative passion, cryptocurrency & decentralization themed art. I have many mediums of art I practice!
Drawing, painting, large scale sculpture, and making music are a few of my mediums. I also like to think of myself as an artist of time.
Which leads me to the rest of this post I am hoping will invite your opinions about my ideas.
First of all, I see the one common denominating factor in all of the major information sciences of programming languages and crypto currency blockchain networks is the calendar, or in specific code terms, a time stamp.
The term 'Calendar's etymological root is the Roman 'calend', the “debt-book” of the ruling class.
Now imagine the world standard Gregorian Calendar as if it was a blockchain.. The months, or weeks as blocks.
From a processing power point of view, does it looks a bit cumbersome for data mining/reference based on it’s structure?
The date numbers being different week to week, the month lengths being of differing alternating sizes.
If it was a blockchain, would there be inconsistency errors and a corrupted chain? Something along those lines?
Could a blockchain optimize it’s processing power and integrity for mining/specialized referencing by adopting a system or algorithm that stores data on a more symmetrical structure of time that is inherently known to define a fractal representation of physical reality?
I'm specifically referencing the 13 month 28 day calendar, or a better word for it: synchronometer.
It divides the year into 13 even months of 28 days each, with 4 perfect 7 day weeks, and one day at end/beginning of the year to cycle 365 days. Leap year is treated the same as the current standard.
On the blockchain, currency is hypothetically decentralized, in control of and owned by the users, everything stored on a public ledger. It's not considered 'debt' as is fiat money as deemed by central banks through the fractional reserve by the fed here in America.
I have wanted to create an experiment based on the theory that; creating a new reference point by integrating into a blockchain, the 13:28+1 system will propel whatever crypto it synchronizes with beyond all others, and eventually beyond the credit card systems.
Am I remotely close?
Is it just about the same processing power?
Would a new system based on the 13:28+1 symmetry assist in market predictions?
Well beyond simple processing power,
Imagine the cultural significance.
Take into account this info:
Economist professor knows it's time to change for better when it comes to the standard Gregorian calendar for the economy. He cites a system supposedly better than the Gregorian called the HHPC yet fails to even reference the more symmetrical 13:28+1 count, even though it has been a world movement for over 10 years:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/stevehanke/2018/12/20/its-time-to-change-the-calendar-once-and-for-all/amp/
While I think crypto is the chance for the world to change for the better through rising blockchain tech and decentralization of currency, I think the 13:28+1 count is the best case senario for culture and the economy as a type of decentralization (and evolution)of time.
The two should fit hand in hand in my mind.
Ok. Number theories...
A key vista of the stock market is Elliot wave theory, it's based on the number 13 and other principle numbers found in nature as well used to predict market behaviors.
If used as a blockchain technology, can the 13:28+1 matrix yield better predictive territory?
Would it shape the behaviors of the markets all together?
Could it be it's own incentive as a coin or coin network (like etherium or ripple) or revolutionize a system like esteem and either/or also double as a new consultative process for mining, social and business network optimization and data referencing?
Could it eventually lead the world economy by setting an example of a superior organizing principle?
I tend to dream that the 13:28+1 year code would be as simple to implement as upgrading the UI of a cell phone, updating the calendar app to a synchronistic dapp. So here I am still just imagining.
If anyone of you reading, developers or not, have any answers or questions, I need feedback. I've been considering and pondering these ideas and studying computer languages to experiment with programming my own 'synchronocity' dapp
Good idea?
What is it worth?
An I wasting my time?
Is time a commodity that can be bought and sold, or an entire system all together that is meant to hold dedicated symmetrical structure for synchronization of infinite data on levels yet unknown by the blockchain, or the majority of culture in any case?
I know the 13:28+1 year code is easier for the human brain to organize with, as ive used it, and I've heard accountants love it. I have these ideas, and this is the best place to share them from where I'm swinging (my hammock).
Well I have some question marks in there so feel free to jump in.
I wish you all a bullish day.
