I was in Detroit for work last week so I stopped at this nice little bar called "Anchor Bar" for lunch and a beer.
This place is just a block away from the Cobo Center so it's a great place to stop by for lunch of you are at a conference or something at the Cobo. It was not too busy and service was quick. I ordered some IPA (forgot what I ordered exactly) and a Fish Sandwich and they came out pretty quick.
I was hungry after doing physical labor all morning and the fish sandwich was delicious. I think it's one of the best I've had in Detroit.
The sandwich came with potato chips which you can upgrade to fries for extra charge. With the craft beer and the sandwich, the total came out to little under $20 with tips. Not too shabby for a meal downtown.
