I usually go to Japan every year to visit my family. The whole 14 day hotel quarantine requirement just makes it too much of a hassle for me to go back. I have a really hard time staying in one place especially being unproductive so I've been just waiting for this whole thing to be over to go back to Japan again.

Yeah, I am really worried that the world is not going to be the same again but I think there are some hope. Some US states seem to get it and are implementing laws to prevent VAX pass from happening so I am planning a move to one of those states.
