Flouride: A Disgusting Practice Which Is Harming People Without Acknowledgement!
The debate of using fluoride is a very controversial one, we do not want the government adulterating our most basic and vital resource, water.
I will be doing an overview on this subject as there is a lot to be discussed and hopefully less to be argued about.
What Is Fluoride?
Fluoride, the 13th most abundant element on the earth's crust, is a chemical ion of the element fluorine - fluoride has one extra electron that gives it a negative charge. (LINK)
Fluoride is found naturally, often in soil, water, minerals and our food.
Fluoride can be synthesized in a lab. This synthetic fluoride is added to drinking water, toothpaste, mouthwashes and other chemical products.
The Mainstream View On Fluoride?
If you ask a dentist what his views on fluoride are you will probably be responded with some of or all of the points below:
Tooth decay is reduced in areas with higher natural levels of fluoride in the water supply
Children need fluoride to protect their permanent teeth as they are being formed
What they might not mention is: According to WHO, millions of people globally are exposed to excessive levels of fluoride
There are millions of people who may potentially be benefiting from excessive fluoride. There are also millions of people who may be getting damaged by this excessive exposure.
Fluoride Is Extremely Toxic
Several industries create fluoride compounds as industrial waste, including Aluminium production.
The first city in the USA to use fluoride in their water was Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Why was this done?
Because there was a study in the early 1900s was conducted.
This study was conducted by a certain dentist who discovered some of his patients had very few cavities. This was traced back to the water which the patient drank, which was excessively high in fluoride.
In the 1930s, studies found that one part per million—roughly one droplet in a bathtub full of water—would prevent cavities without causing mottled enamel. (LINK)
By 2008 more than 72% of the US’s public water was fluoridated.
The Controversy
There are many concerns related to the use of flouride, we will review the most important ones below...
Fluoride is a toxin which is used to manufacture poisons
Right of free choice is lost because there is a totalitarian government dosing our water, while many people oppose fluoride all together
Remember this is a by-product of industrial waste. Should industrial waste be disposed of by being consumed by everyone?
It is simply not healthy for us. There are also other major health concerns regarding this toxin.
How To Live Without The Chemical
First step would be to buy a water filter which filters flouride, they are easily attainable on Amazon, Ebay, etc.
Most bottled water has fluoride in it, do your research before purchase!
Toothpaste as well! Make sure it is fluoride free!
Meat and prewashed vegetables are a no, these most certainly contain the chemical.
