The MCGI Mass Indoctrination lightens our understanding to know how to serve God acceptably. I am grateful to God for granting me such an opportunity to hear these fearless sound doctrines that exposes dark perceptions and beliefs, and brightens the mind. To God be the glory.
These past days have been packages of blessings to me. My conscience has been purged and my mind enlightened. My understanding of following Jesus has received a boost. I now know how to serve God obediently. I understand that in the church of God there are dos and don'ts. Many lessons have been passed to me on the cause of listening to Bro Eli Soriano.
The importance of gathering in the church has been plainly explained to me. I understand now that It is God's commandment for us to join the church and to be actively involved in the gatherings.
Hebrews 10:24-25 (KJV) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
When we come together in gatherings, it should not be for show-off of our material possessions and physical adornments. We should observe and consider each other to provoke unto love. It should be to express care and render good works. To help those who are helpless and to feed those who are hungry.
In our prayer lives, we should pray according to the doctrines of Jesus Christ in a way that God will hear us and answer us. We should not be like fools before God, just ranting carelessly.
Ecclesiastes 5:1-2 (KJV) Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
When praying, we should avoid vain repetitions. God is willing to hear us as He has promised. The prayers of the righteous are His delight.
Moreso, we should not pray like the hypocrites. We should not pray to attract men's attention.
Let our prayers be simple and straightforward. Discipline should be inculcated into our prayers.
May God help us to put what we are learning into practice.
