Sunday was our first experience at my husband's new station as a pastor. If you are familiar with the work of clergy, you will understand that they are always on transfers and postings from one station to another. Each posting might mean moving from one city to another. This Sunday happened to be one of those moments when I have to transfer not only myself but my services as a christian worshiper to another parish.
The experience was quite unique and interesting. We had a resounding welcome from the brethren we went to meet in the church. In fact, they showed us love to the highest order. We were treated well. It made me felt happy that I was transferred to such a place.
There are different experiences that character our ministerial work as pastors. Sometimes, one could be worried about where he will be sent to. Especially when you have been in a place where you were really loved. But I am grateful for the kind of reception that I was given there. It is an indication that I will have peace working with the brethren in that locality.
