Gulf Fritillary Butterfly
Hello Steemit community, I wanted to share with you a photo that I took back in October 2017. I never seen this type of butterfly before, and I just had to take a photo of it.
It is also known as the passion butterfly. It landed on my mexican heather shrub. They migrate over much of the US. Its family is Nymphalidae. The Gulf Fritillary butterfly has long narrow wings.
