I had a wonderful relationship with my late mother - we were soul mates and best friends and my memories of her are so very special. She meant the world to me and I hope that my children remember me the way I remembered her.
My late father left me with many sayings that I use all the time in my life. The wall that says "You are exactly where you should be" reminded me of him. He always taught us that everything happens for a purpose - and Let go, let God and Its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
I also remember him sitting on the beach in Mauritius where he retired and drinking his beer watching the sunset saying Look around you - it will astound you
Hopefully I've left such a mark on my children and that they will recall fond memories. Our family love making memories.

Sadly my mom passed away before Lee and Eden came into this world.馃槶
Also sad that I don't have a grand child to brag about in this Generation story.
Still, I am very grateful for my close and loving family who have always been there for me and that I've had so many special moments with - and many celebrations.
