"But you have the anointing of the Holy One." (1 John 2:20)
I've been thinking about what I'll write today. I have been able to experience such a beautiful and wonderful peace today. I have witnessed how the power of God manifests itself in lives and covers every need. Because although sometimes we despair and believe that God delays, he never arrives late.

Today we had such a beautiful prayer service. There's nothing better than talking to Daddy God quietly. It feels a serenity, a relief, a feeling so inexplicable. And while I was coming back home I thought about how important and necessary the anointing is in the life of every believer.
One of the meanings of the word anointing is the following: "devotion, recollection and perfection with which one dedicates oneself to something". The anointing is a power, an authority that God gives us and that no one can take from us. But it also implies that desire and that quest to always want to do things well. That dedication, dedication and passion that moves us to give the best of ourselves to bless other lives and impact them through the power of God.
That anointing makes a difference in our lives. Because it is the touch of God imparted to man. Elisha apparently knew how important it was to have the anointing of God in carrying out his ministry. And he longed so much that he dared to ask for a double portion of the anointing he had seen in Elijah. But he had to be alert to receive it. God did a part, but Elisha had to do another. Such was the anointing that Elisha had that still, a dead man who fell into Elisha's tomb accidentally, rose again at the contact with his bones (for more information read the Bible).
And today the Lord makes the call, because he wants us to seek more and more each day of his presence. May we be filled with his words, his life, his holiness. May we reach lives and may these lives be impacted through our own lives and witness. He has called us so that in his name the sick may be healed, the oppressed, freed, destroyed, renewed. But it is necessary for each one of us to look for that fire that burns and consumes everything that God does not like, and that makes us act with authority and in a wonderful way for the glory of God. The anointing not only produces changes in our lives, but also in our environment, in people and around us.
Do not neglect the gift that God has placed on you, because you will be responsible for what you do with that power and anointing that God has placed on you.
