Our confidence should never be lost, accompanied by patience, it will lead us to the promise through faith.
One of the things that pleases God is that we show our trust in him, that we believe he is all powerful, that there is nothing impossible; It is difficult to trust in the middle of the difficulty, in the midst of pain, of discouragement, of the loss of a loved one, in the midst of loving disappointment. And we want to see God's answers soon, but we are slow to hear and obey; It is good "Everything is possible if you can believe" (Mark 9:23) but if there is something very important to take into account, and it is God's will.
God's will is not just to listen to it or to wait for it, but also to fulfill it. And that is where we fail daily because many times the Lord shows us the way, what we should do, but still we do our will, both are totally different and therefore we will obtain different results, whether for good or for bad.
Then it is there where we stop to analyze if we are righteous, because the promises of his word are for these, but then the righteous one is the one who lives only by faith, not by appearances, nor by the one who will say, the righteous one is the one who knows how to do an effective prayer, the word says. "The prayer of the righteous can much" (James 5:16) RVR1960. Effective prayer is one that, despite what you ask for, you are capable of submitting yourself to the will of God and to what he commands.
"Do not lose, then, your confidence, which has a great reward; because patience is necessary for you, so that having done the will of God, you may obtain the promise. Because even a little bit, And he who is to come will come, and will not delay. But the just shall live by faith; And if I step back, it will not please my soul. But we are not those who go back to perdition, but those who have faith for the preservation of the soul.
