Hebrews 11:6 says, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
Our righteousness is one thing that pleases God the most. Being righteous simply means you're doing the will God end following his teachings. The Bible teaches that God is not primarily interested in outward religious acts if the heart is far from Him. Instead, He delights in those who trust Him, walk in His ways, and show love, mercy, and humility toward others. A life that reflects God's character brings Him great pleasure.
Jesus emphasized that the greatest commandments are to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. When we live by these principles, we honor God and demonstrate genuine worship.
