The past weeks have been a little challenging. Nothing major has happened, but I guess you can only bottle small things up for so long before it overfills and breaks.

I decided that after spending so much time in bed and being isolated, I would go out and be spontaneous. I decided to take a short trip 20 miles away to my nearest coast, Great Yarmouth.

It was cold and windy, and it even rained on the way, but the beach brings me calm and a small joy that is tricky to explain. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something about the crashing waves and the golden sands that brings a calm, allowing me to have an escape and enjoy the moment. I was also completely alone on the beach the whole time. I was on the sand; I saw maybe 2-3 dog walkers at most.

The tide was very far out, revealing a nice shallow area of rocks.

It felt good to get out and do something out of the blue. Mental well-being is very important. With all the drama in the world. The wars, the cost of living, and young people like me, and maybe you too, whatever your age, finding it impossible to grow and work towards things. For me, today was just about escaping for a bit and just enjoying a different environment. A beach trip is quite rare for me compared to a few years ago.

I also captured a couple of short clips. I may finally explore 3speak and see if I can make a short clip from the couple of clips I recorded. With that, I'll wrap up today's post. Thanks for reading.
