Wellll...that didn't take long to find out what the dealio is for charities in communities and those that set up their profiles using the 'charity' name...

Out of the 24 I found, only 1 by the name of Charity Curator was actually real and had anything to do with charities but they have been inactive for the past 18months @charitycurator/posts, this might be of some help to us though...@charitycurator/426axy-how-to-support-our-mission s and then the only other communities that I found was the hiveaid and charity community which are the only 2 valid sites.

All others have been inactive for atleast 12months.

Such a shame that so many people have misused the word charity....on steem and Hive...So because of that fact, it's not like we would be able to start off from a clean slate as it would have to be a massive marketing campaign to rebrand the word back to it's purest form and intention to completely disassociate ourselves from the the others...pity they can't be purged from the system somehow...
