I guess at this stage we need to get a feel for what everyone else is doing and try to synchronise some of the charitable efforts here on the blockchain. I just left @achimmertens a comment suggesting that we try to create a blog footer that clearly communicates how you can align your HIVE life towards charitable causes and make a positive impact alongside your blogging. I.e. who to follow and support, communities to join, what tags to use and when, how to utilise tokens like CHARY coin or Nobel etc.
Im only just starting to dip my toes in to all of that stuff as well and my first thought is 'lets make this easy for people'. If you want to be making a positive impact, it needs to be easy to discover HOW and easy to share that info.
I guess once we have gathered a concise version of this useful info we should make a graphic that anyone can use at the bottom of their posts. Somehow we need to direct more people towards the charity community and get the discussion fired up so that we can start to have a bit more presence here!
Its all very well me having ambitious ideas of apps, but at the moment its difficult to know how to effectually share it. I know there are plenty of committed, compassionate people doing awesome things but we need to somehow put all of those heads together so that we can create a united front of goodwill! Maybe its already happening on discord somewhere, but I havn't stumbled across it yet! So lets keep nosing about, keep each other in the loop, and try to fill gaps where we find them!
I'll be honest, Im a pretty disorganised and inconsistent person but for all my faults I do really care about the spreading of positivity and goodwill. If I can do something to get things rolling by putting people together or sharing a decent idea then thats a pretty good start for me!
