I don't recall a time in my life when music didn't matter to me; I have a broad musical interest and have filled my life with so much diversity from a music perspective which means many of my most treasured memories have a soundtrack or background music for lack of a better way to put it.

I'm quite private by nature usually staying well within my tight circle and don't use social media so sharing my musical interests, or any other interests for that point, is not something I've done much of however I find this #saturdayselections to be enjoyable as it gives me good reason to delve into my musical interests and find things to revisit that I've forgotten, I loved, or simply to run into a piece of music that inspires memories of days past.

This week I looked backwards in time and found this track which I first heard when on a date with someone who over time has made a deep and lasting impact on my life and hearing it again after a long while made me smile. It's called, whisper your name and for certain when that person whispered my name into my ear I soon developed the very same smile I had today.

This second track ties nicely into the moment above and specifically about the person and that date. I think the both of us said I, feel like makin' love on many occasions. I'll leave this one right here though, there's no need to elaborate further.

If you've not had a manic Monday I don't think I'd believe it. I remember when this trio hit the scene and this song resonated because Monday's aren't not my favourite days of the week. I wasn't a huge fan of this band but when they were popular it was difficult to avoid them and with catchy songs like this there's no wonder why.
