Cumplir a帽os es motivo de alegr铆a y celebracion para muchos, pero para Tom fue m谩s que eso, les cuento, en octubre del a帽o pasado Tom se empezo a sentir mal y tuvieron que llamar una ambulancia y trasladarlo al hospital militar porque ni el ni su esposa quer铆an ir para el hospital Luis Ortega.
Despu茅s de 2 semanas hospitalizado sin un diagn贸stico y con mucho deterioro por no recibir un tratamiento adecuado lo trasladaron al hospital Luis Ortega en porlamar y el le dijo a su esposa yo no vine para ac谩 a morirme sino a vivir , finalmente le diagnosticaron Guillain Barre, fue una lucha de varias semanas en el hospital,luego lo dieron de alta y en diciembre ya estaba en su casa y le dijo a su esposa para la cena de navidad estar茅 caminando y cenare en la mesa contigo y asi fue.
Tom a sus 80 a帽os es ejemplo de fortaleza y voluntad y aunque sigue con sus terapias en casa, ya regreso a trabajar a su taller de carpinter铆a,sale de compras con su esposa, maneja de vez en cuando y cada dia se siente mejor.
Mi esposo 
脡l cant贸 su cumplea帽os muy emocionado y feliz de poder celebrar la vida.
Nos comimos unos ricos teque帽os y la torta la acompa帽amos con un rico helado tres sabores.

After 2 weeks hospitalized without a diagnosis and with much deterioration for not receiving adequate treatment he was transferred to the Luis Ortega hospital in Porlamar and he told his wife I did not come here to die but to live, finally he was diagnosed with Guillain Barre, it was a struggle of several weeks in the hospital, then he was discharged and in December he was already at home and told his wife for Christmas dinner I will be walking and I will dine at the table with you and so it was.
Tom at 80 years old is an example of strength and will and although he continues with his therapies at home, he is back to work in his carpentry shop, goes shopping with his wife, drives from time to time and every day he feels better.
