Cleaning a teapot🫖[ENG-ESP]

Good evening, friends at @homesolutions. When I arrived in Chile, I realised that electric kettles and teapots are widely used here, but what I hadn't realised is that boiling water so often leaves sediment in both of them, and if they aren't cleaned in time, the sediment sticks to the kettle and teapot and is difficult to remove. So I set about searching the internet for ways to clean the kettle, but I forgot to take photos. Later, I went to my daughter's mother-in-law's house and she had a teapot lying in the yard because it had a lot of sediment stuck to it and she was going to throw it away. I offered to clean it, but I forgot to take photos again 🙈. But another day I went back and saw that she had another one in even worse condition, and I asked her if I could clean it. She said, "Just keep it, I'm not going to use it," so I brought it home, and this time I did take photos.

Feliz noche amigos de @homesolutions, cuando llegue a Chile me di cuenta que aquí se usa mucho el hervidor que es eléctrico o la tetera que se coloca en la cocina, pero lo que no me había dado cuenta es que quedan sedimentos en los dos de tanto hervir agua que si no se limpian a tiempo se pegan en el hervidor y la tetera y después son difíciles de sacar,así que me di a la tarea de buscar en internet para limpiar el hervidor pero se me olvidó tomar fotos, después fui casa de la suegra de mi hija y ella tenía una tetera tirada en el patio por qué tenía mucho sedimento pegado y la iba a botar y yo me ofrecí a limpiarla y también se me olvidó tomar fotos 🙈, pero otro día regresé y vi que tenía otra en peores condiciones y se la pedí para limpiarla y me dijo quedesela nomás que yo no la voy a ocupar así que me la traje y a esta si le tome fotos.

KETTLE/HERVIDOR

I started by removing a piece of fabric from the handle and washing it because it was very dirty.
Then, using a spoon, I tried to remove some of the sediment that was stuck to it, and then I put it on the hob with vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and water, let it boil for 5 minutes and left it to soak. I threw away that water when it cooled down and scrubbed it with steel wool and detergent.

Empecé por quitarle una tela que tenía en el asa y lavarla por que estaba muy cochina.
Luego con una cuchara trate de quitarle parte del sedimento que tenía pegado y después la puse a la candela con vinagre, bicarbonato y agua, la deje hervir por 5 minutos y la dejé en remojo, bote esa agua cuando se enfrío y me dedique a estregarla con el brillo de alambre y detergente .

Then I repeated the same procedure with water, bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. With the help of a spatula, I removed the remaining sediment and rubbed it with sandpaper until it was shiny. It was worth the effort.

Luego volví a hacer el mismo procedimiento con agua, bicarbonato y vinagre,con la ayuda de una espátula le despegue los sedimentos que le quedaban y con una lija la fui frotando hasta dejarla reluciente, valió la pena el esfuerzo.
