This took place on the same day that my aunt and uncle picked up their new car. (see previous post if u missed that) We took a little road trip that lasted a few hours.
We stopped at the lookout spot to go see the elephant seals. They were just lying around. I thik that's all they do for most of the days. They also like to flip sand on top them to cool off more,, since the sand is cool and its like sun block. :)
We also stopped at this old, home built house.. called the Nit Wit house. The man who builts it was a recluse guy who used tires, old leftover wood and other 'junk' to build the house piece by piece..
It was approaching dinner time we stopped at this sport bar. It we very roomy, so it was real easy for me and my mom to walk around. yay! Check out this mural they had on one of the walls..
Let me say again how cool and lovelt the new car is. It's so roomy and easy to get in and out of. The scenery here in cali is pretty cool.. more coastal.. like the ocean.. nature. and the people seem very at ease and the pace here is real slow. Hah! SLO (san luis obispo) is the name of the big town nearby. (that's where the airport is) I think I can definitely become used to life here in cali. I am already used to a laid back lifestyle since Hawaii is the same way. :) Aloooooooooooooooooooha!!
