Being obedient is a major thing in the bible which is preached extensively. We are not talking about rules here but understandimg and listening to the words of God and also doing what he wants from us. When believers obey God, they show their love and faith in Him.
Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).
God tends to protect those who are obedient to him. When people walk in God’s ways, they experience His favor and protection. Obedience may not always be easy, but it leads to a life that is pleasing to God.
“Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him” (Psalm 128:1).
Obedience also requires faith, especially when God’s instructions are difficult or unclear. Many biblical figures, like Abraham, obeyed God even when they did not fully understand His plans. This kind of obedience shows deep trust in God’s wisdom and timing. True obedience means choosing God’s will above personal desires.
