The bible made us to understand that only God knows the future. God created human being with a limited wisdom about the future. In the book of Isaiah, God says that He declares “the end from the beginning” because His wisdom is beyond human knowledge. This reminds believers to trust God instead of depending on fortune tellers, superstition, or fear about tomorrow.
Jesus also taught His followers not to worry too much about the future. He encouraged people to seek God first and live faithfully each day. While the future may seem uncertain to us, Christians believe that God guides the lives of those who trust in Him. Prayer, faith, and obedience help believers walk confidently even when they do not know what lies ahead.
The Bible also warns against trying to know the future through ungodly means such as divination, sorcery, or consulting mediums. Instead, believers are encouraged to depend on God’s Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5.
